Decipha really is an asset to the tuning community. He gives away so much time, energy and knowledge to us while expecting little to nothing in return.

I've read and used everyone of his tuning write up's for my cars and they all run better because of it. I also try to read everything he posts as I know ill always learn something from it. My only complaint with decipha is that his explanations go over my head.... .I need a decipha guide for dummies so I don't have to spend an hour googling definitions to explain his response, lol.

I just updated / reorganized the homepage on efidynotuning.com its now easier to kep track of diffrrent things going on strategy and tune wise

The 03/04 cobra crowd is in for a real treat here shortly, im currently working on flex fuel support from within the ecu, no more tune changes needed when going from pump to e85

I agree with Mike, Decipha's write ups and help are a huge asset. I've read the write ups on his page with great interest, often multiple times when refreshing or using as a reference.

Sometimes there seem to be terms that only apply to GUFB strategies and I can't figure out how to cross reference to the strategy I'm working on but for the most part extremely helpful.

it applies to all its just dependent upon the person that wrote your def file they throw off the wall names in there, i stick with henrys nomenclature when possible most dont though

since im writing the closed loop wideband control i was just going to infer ethanol content based on the global fuel correction shift, well some folks didnt like that idea so instead requested i write code to use a flex fuel sensor instead

You simply mount an inline flex fuel sensor in your fuel line, then run it to an unused pin on the ecu, enable the flex fuel code in the ecu and off you go

fbgi0 isnt so much a problem cuz theres bunches of free rom, the cbaza cars and 03-04 maueauders / crown vic / luxury fords both suffer from no free rom so i have to make the code compact and portable yet robust enough and in depth enough to be fully supportive, i actually started the code originally on gufb, ported it over to fbfg2 and then over to cbaza and now fbgi0, so its been through the paces lol

I have no eta on it, i just rewrote the logic last tuesday so itll be a bit, its all part of my 2 step and meth / n2o and wideband CL code so its a package deal. Ive highly considered using hego2s input with a programmable wideband set to output full range at 0-1v but thats not ideal since I use AEMs which arent, when i figure out how i want to implement it then ill proceed, its nothing difficult just time consuming

If anyone has any thoughts or suggestions post it on my forum​

I take it this is something that would only work with Tunerpro and not BE? or will it work with any of the software?

I use tunerpro only, binary editor hasnt had a "binary editor" in it for a few years now, not to mention tunerpro is far superior with binary arithmetic and bulk block writing
