So I filled my car up at my usual E85 station and I filled up a bottle to test when I got home. Well on my way home I did a pull and the car felt like shit and AFRs were 10.1 (usually 11.7 on E85)
so when I tested it, this is what i got

I would like to know if any other states are having this issue.
I also found this

Hmmmm....depressing.

Hope that's just Arizona and not nation wide...filled up 3 weeks ago and it was solid 85%, all the pumps still had E85 stickers

Hmm, my boss buys this by the barrel downtown. I'll have to see if his pump is doing the same.

Wow! That is low. But I would still run this over 93 all day all night long! Will just have to adjust the tune accordingly.

Sorry to hear it OP! I ran into the same issue. Two weeks ago, all was well. Fill up just last Friday and noticed my car was dumping fuel and getting KR.

Lame...

I googled a bit and this may just be something they are allowed to do during winter. Wasnt real clear thought.

nooooooo.. :(

what station is that?

Kroger in Pearland on 518 and Cullen. I tested it at 74% ethanol. It was tested later that week at by someone else at 90%. I think they put the sticker on so they wouldn't have to answer questions about ethanol content fluctuations.

Yeah Lund said the same thing, and the car still feels strong on E54. I think he said he pulled 2 or 3 degrees of total timing out of my tune. But I have a E85 tune, E54 tune and pump gas tune. So I'm all set now.

Might have to test my local station. Could be issues with EtOH production or the fact that a barrel of crude is running so low.

Might now be worth the expense and effort to buy a 55 gallon drum of pure ethanol. Then fortify the pump E-whatever until you get to E-85.

https://www.maperformance.com/products/55-gallon-drum-of-e98-ethanol-racing-fuel $339.00 for the barrel. i don't know what the shipping costs would be. And I bet you could get it much cheaper if you go to the actual manufacturer. This might make sense if a few people go in on a run and buy a few drums at the same time.

Here is a short article on the wholesale ethanol pricing structure.
http://zfacts.com/zfacts.com/p/438.html

Here is the best deal I could find. But you better be a big user, club, or a bunch of friends. Gulf Racing Fuels has a $2000.00 minimum dealer cost pricing including free delivery. So as long as a group can come up with the money and a place to store it this might be the best possible deal. It's E-98 AND they will deliver it in EPA approved five gallon pails OR 55 gallon drums.

I just got 60 gallons today in VA tested at about 87% was still settling. Didn't notice any funny stickers, but I wasn't looking either. $1.70

Good info.

Just got back from testing Stripes store #1030 at 1111 League City Pkwy.....tested E86

The pumps did have that "51-83" sticker which I've never seen on those pumps ever before...but tested great none the less.
