Would the CJ baby cam for exhaust and LM Intake cam work well together, something close to Comp Cam Stage 3 but safer at high RPM?

Yes
The car tested had the 13MM 290 SCJ cams, so yes they work well together.

So were the gains from swapping in both the LM Intake and the CJ exhaust cams, or was it already full Cobra Jet cam setup and you just swapped intake (I'm guessing it is since Boss intake cam is 12mm and not 13mm)? If it was full CJ before and you gained 15hp, that's even better for a stock GT or Boss. If I recall correctly, the exhaust cam was the more restricrive of the two on the coyote?

What is the duration for the LM intake?

Will it take kindly to spray and timing retard?

If you read the original post is states this was an INTAKE CAM ONLY test. The engine it was tested on is the Aluminator XS from Ford racing, and that engine comes with SCJ Cams, SCJ intake, etc. You can look up full details on this engine online.

For a full n/a set up on a boss 302... would you recommend these cans over the comp 3s ... and since the boss have better springs than the oem will the springs withstand the comp 3s ?

With this new L&M intake cam are gears needed such as 3.73 or do 3.31/3.55 work as well?

Also, what is the part number for the cj exhaust cams? I'm finding multiple numbers.

Do these cams have a nice lopey idle?

Baby CJ cams 11mm lift, the part number is: M6550M50GTE.

I'm not sure if you can still buy these new. They were discontinued a awhile back.

I bought my set for $159 and made 466 rwhp on 91 oct on AED's dyno.

.........where did you buy them? I just dropped off my block to Tim over at MPR yesterday and might as well throw a set in there if they are that inexpensive.

I bought mine from tasca, but summit and jegs were carrying them a little while back.

Update: Cams are in! Took a few days as I was doing opg's, valve springs, and the baby cj exhaust cams at the same time. Shaun sent me a base tune and I have it logged and done. He sent me the updated tune yesterday afternoon so all that's left is to upload it to the car and head To a dyno! Initial impressions are there are no drivability concerns with these cams. Car runs perfect. Felt stronger on the base tune. Can't wait to see what it does with the update and e85.

I would like to know the possibilities of a group purchase on a set of these. I have a set of the baby cobra jet cams taking up shelf space, and this is the motivation I needed to get the job done.
Anybody have someone's ear at L&M that could maybe get this done?

When I was doing my search last week, I found a good deal on new baby CJ cams on eBay. I was ready to buy but after reviewing with my engine builder (Tim @ MPR), he said that the baby CJ cams (stock lift, longer duration) wasn't ideal with a turbo setup. Oh well, would've been nice since my motor is already in pieces.

I'd be interested in a group purchase.
