Steeda springs and stock isos irs
H&R Sports are lower than the Race. I think even H&R's website has it backwards.
OP, glad you started this thread. I'm stuck in the middle with the H&R Race Springs or Steeda Springs. Same boat, don't want to bottom out especially with LT Headers.
The more I look, I think Race Springs are the way to go ......

I'm told by prev owner that I have Eibach's. Man it's low - they look great but are tough to drive on here in CO. I've scraped a few more times than I'm happy about and spots where I was "good" suddenly aren't good with a passenger in the car. I'm thinking really hard about new springs to get it a little higher before I break something - just have to figure out what kind. I have Vogtlands on my 03 GT Vert and I'm pretty happy with the ride/height so maybe I'll go that way again.

That sits nice bro! thats what im looking for on my vert. Just bought OE 03 cobra wheels and those 17s make my car look like a 4x4 stock :nonono: Thanks for the pic.

Im curious on the mm coilovers. Ive never had coilovers in any of my car and i would like to put them on on 03. was the process dificult? any suggestions?

Thanks Oscar, I literally just swapped out the springs for a set of Steeda Sports. It gave me another 3/4" of clearance in the front. Between my driveway and the some of the roads around here, I needed it!
I confirmed that the springs that came out were Eibachs I just could not see the wording till I got them out. I don't have enough posts yet to put sale items up but if anyone is interested in them, I'd sell them super cheap, considering shipping probably would not be cheap. I get a lot of good info on this site, so really just looking to "pay it forward". If anyone is interested, just shoot me an email (rccg94 at yahoo.com). The car only has 16K on it so I can't think the springs have many miles on them.
Anyway, I was trying to take the path of least resistance installing the new ones. Fronts are simple, so I'll skip them. Rear is a different story. Most say drop the catbacks and pivot the IRS forward which sounded OK but I was afraid to mess with the IRS bolts without replacements on hand as they had been shaved down by prev owner (was concerned I would round off the heads or worse..). Other posts recommended the following, which worked out great. I don't claim this is the best way, it just worked well for me. I like pics to go along with direx so here they are:
1) Jack up car, etc. Support lower control arm with jack.
2) Remove lower spindle bolt:
3) Remove lower shock bolt:
4) Remove end link (for me this was biggest PITA)
5) Remove parking brake bracket
6) As many have already stated, the existing springs can be pried out (mine came out pretty easy). The new ones might be tough to "pry in" so I struggled for about an hour before I got smart and just went around the corner and "rented" a coil spring compressor from a local auto parts store. Like most places it was a just a deposit and the actual tool usage was free. definitely worth the 20 minute round trip! It also made indexing the pigtails really simple. Start with indexing to the parking brake cable bracket. I've read you can fine tune ride height a little by rotating the pigtails to different locations but I just kept it simple:
7) Reassemble in reverse, torque everything to spec, do the other side and go get an alignment! Each side took me about an hour.

those of yous with coil overs up front, what spring rate are you using? mine is 90% street and 10% 1/4 mile. i like the stiffer ride on the roads and through the corners. I have Koni adjustable all around
has anyone tried the 99-01 cobra springs in the 03-04, i spoke with eibach rep and he mentioned the coils used to be the same, but they were finding the 3590.140 part number was dropping the front on average of 2"
so they changed the spring rate in a newer kit which is the 3594.140 eibach pro kit

My 03 Cobra coupe has the eibach pro kit. A little backround first, I took the front suspension apart to install Steeda X2 ball joints, bump steer kit and MM caster camber plates. When I took the front springs out I discovered they were broken. On one side about half of the lower coil was broken and the other side the lower coil was in about three pieces. The car rode and drove perfect, was level from side to side and the front suspension did not make any noise whatsoever. I got a new set of Eibachs and noticed right away that they were shorter. The rears more so than the fronts. I installed them anyway along with isolators and the spacers that came with the ball joints. The car now sits entirely too low. It looks incredible but it is almost undriveable. I'm pretty sure the new springs have the same part number as the old ones so I don't know if Eibach changed the kit. The car used to sit at the perfect height with the old springs. I never had any rubbing or bottoming out issues. I'm thinking about changing to a spring that gives me a little more clearance.

What made you decide to go with that combo? just out of curiosity.
Sports sit fairly low in the front and race sits pretty high in the rear. Thats going to make a pretty big rake, unless you are moving some ISO's around.
I'll definitely more than likely go with front coilovers and in the rear not sure. I definitely want a nice staggered look and the rear to sit higher than the front. Will also be going with either 315s or 335s in rear
Stock springs with 1 coil cut off on all four corners, with stock iso's in place. One finger between the fender and tire. Rides and handles great but will scrape the mufflers on a steep driveway apron.

some angles it looks a little more than 1 finger lol.
on my 95 I got about 2 fingers and in the rear with 35-50 lbs because of the speaker box. I always fill my car up so i definitely want to consider that on both cars as my terminator will have the same subwoofer setup ( 1 - 10 inch in a box). Coilovers on the front will help me get that desired look in case the front sits up higher because of the extra weight.
I'll probably like the front to be a tad lower or no less than level with the rear as yours are
