looking clean man... its all in the details.

Thanks man!

I got some work done today on the engine. Finally got the offset dowel pins and dialed in the bell housing and it came in within spec.

Didn't get any pics of just the flywheel however I have an aluminum flywheel under this McLeod RST installed on the engine.

Running a stock fork, nothing stronger should be needed since the dual disk isn't that much heavier. For good measure the fork was boxed in.

Found this neat plug my dad milled quite a few years ago, this will keep fluid from puking out the back.

Oh yeah, did I mention this weekend and took delivery of these bad boys!!!! Big shout out to SAMach1 for the help with transporting. Also huge shoutout to Cobraterritory for being very clear with what I was going to receive. They are exactly what you described, took pictures of, and you literally pointed out everything that could have been looked at as a flaw (there are no flaws on these).

Now the car is awaiting my detailer to come over to my house to do a single stage buffing to the engine bay, and then cQuartz coat the engine bay as well as putting a cQuartz finish on the wheels and inner wheel barrels.

Up next will be dropping the engine in and bringing the headers and k member up, then suspension goes together.

Everything looks killer man...I'll be picking up a Mcleod clutch pretty soon for the cobra, either an RST or an RXT...let us know how you like it.

Thanks man, I appreciate it.

As for the clutch you might get yours in and running before I get mind completed... But if I do I will certainly let you know my experience with it.

Made a little headway on the car, I had my detailer come over and polish the new paint in the bay and apply the ceramic coating (cquartz finest).

So beautiful I almost don't want to put it into the car.

Headers bolted up on the driver side for right now.

Hit my first snag... The motor mounts had some interference with the webs of the block so there will need to be slots ground into the bend of the mount. Not sure if you can see the small witness mark by the bolt hole.

Tomorrow the K-member should be in and headers bolted up. Hope you guys are enjoying this as much as I am now that I am going back together!

Love the attention to detail. Weather is working in your favor too. Can't remember the last time it's been so nice outside this late in April.
