I recently bought my first 03 cobra and it is completely stock, I had an 03 gt with o/r X pipe and flowmaster 40's and loved the loud exhuast tone. I've never heard the stingers or Mac on an 03-04 in person aside from YouTube videos. I'm also interested in going with the Mac o/r prochamber a little after getting a catback. I'm going for loud, deep, and smooth, any thoughts?

Also, if anyone is near Greensboro, nc it would be great to hear some catback in person, thanks

I always thought the a prochamber with stingers was the best sounding. I have stingers but on a 01 GT with a bassani X and everyone loves the sound of it. Looking to find a offroad H now though I want to change up the sound.

I havent found any good YouTube videos of an 03-04 cobra with stingers and prochamber, do you know of any other places to find a sound clip?

Mac, Mac is a chambered muffler so it's going to give that sound your looking for. I was looking for the same sound as you.

What's your email, I'll send the few sounds clips that I have

I had a Bassani catted X-pipe and a Borla Stinger catback with stock manifolds on my 03 Cobra. If I would have kept that car, I would have swapped the X-pipe out for an off-road one. In my opinion, that is the best sounding setup on the Terminators (off-road X-pipe and Stingers). If it's not deep enough with an X-pipe, then using an H-pipe or a ProChamber would produce a slightly deeper tone.

I have a prochamber with Stingers on my '02 GT. The PC really smoothed the tone and deepened it a bit over the O/R H pipe I was running. I like how the PC sounds with Borla more than any other midpipe. It gives the Stingers a cleaner, more "refined" sound.

That combination is a little too loud for my liking, though, so I may swap out the Stingers for Borla Pro XS/Steeda mufflers. If you like loud, then the PC/Stinger combination should serve you well.

Awesome, I just purchased a borla stinger catback and installed it myself and absolutely love the sound. I think I'll be good on just having a stock h pipe for now but will look into the prochamber when I can afford it
