Yeh mate,

We've been working on a lot of rust repairs fixing a lot of the smaller issues.

We have also been waiting for the rear tubs to be rolled so while we were waiting we ticked off one of the major repairs. we removed the LH side sill rail, not sure what you guy's call them over there. The car must have been exposed to a lot of weather on that side of the car as this side has a lot of rust. The RH side is like new except for the lower rear quarter panel.

Here's some pics of the old sill.

This is the new rail fitted and tacked in. Just needs welding in to complete the job.

.

The new chassis rails we installed to give the shell some extra strength and provide a mounting point for the 6R80 has also been welded in.

Once we complete the rear tub fabrication work then we can measure the diff and install the new 4 link rear end.

Dummy fitting in the coyote radiator. Seems like it is going to be a relatively simple job. Hopefully we will still have enough room to mount the turbo's beside either side of the radiator. If look at the RH side of the radiator you will see where we hope to mount the IC's one on each side.

Hi JM01,

Not much has happened lately. Fixed a bit more rust and started fitting the tubs. I've had to put the brakes on the project for a little while. Have to finish our house renovations first.

I will update the site when we get back into it.

Thanks for the interest

Awesome!!! That's great news. I'm glad I was able to help out in some small way. I'm heading over there now to check it out.

My build will be starting shortly into the new financial year so I will start updating this thread as things happen.
