Each step was calculated as I watched and listened to what was happening around me. When your in an environment like this safety is my number one priority because if its not one mis-calculation, one lapse in judgment and things can go bad in a blink of an eye. With the only sounds being the deep rumbling from the ice moving combined with the sound of 20 mph deafening winds the occasional flock of geese and squawks from seagulls flying high above, this experience will truly be unforgettable.
