I've been searching for a reputable dyno place anywhere in Oklahoma, anyone know where one might be? Been searching for 2 years and mostly found engine dyno's but no chassis dyno's with tuning capabilities. A place that is a full scale knowledgeable shop capable of installs and parts is preferred but beggers cant be choosers. I'll take what I can get considering where I'm at. Thanks!

I just went to their site, its the dudes that do the "street outlaws" show. Which means one of a couple things.
1. their really really good and will really take care of your car and give great knowledge advice on supporting mods
2. they don't care cuz they have a show, so you might get dangerous tunes and bad work/advice

I'm going to give them a call on Monday to see what their schedule is like and what kinda experience they have with Cobras/Mustangs

I think there is a shop in Tulsa thats supposed to be a well respected Mustang Shop. I know before LSXKILLER showed up in Lawerence that most people took their stuff to either Oklahoma or Texas for tunes.

I'm not real sure if I could take my car to Midwest street cars. Just because the fact that they have a tv show and not knowing how long they have been tuning cars. I'm not talking crap on them. ( I do watch the show ) a lot of it staged. But at least it's a car related tv show with fast cars. Lol

As far as shops in Tulsa. My buddy was gonna take his car to arc-angel (not sure if that's spelled right) but decided to take it to Lsxkiler's in bonner springs, ks. Moe seemed like he knew his stuff. I might give him a try next time I need my car tuned. I had my car tuned by Stlmustangs in leadington, mo. By bob monk. Very very knowledgable guy. But it's a 5 hour drive one way for me to take my car to him.

Yeah, I definitely have my reservations about going to Midwestern. I'll call em just to see if I can get a feel. I'm really hoping I don't have to wait till I'm back in North Carolina to do more dyno runs. When I lived in NC it was nice cuz my tuner was 10 minutes down the road. Here in Oklahoma where I'm at anything I want to do is atleast an hour or more away.

Ben is a great guy, not sure if he will tune other peoples cars.

Try Bo with APS or Abel racing. Both have worked on and tuned modular engines.

Who's is Ben head? And also curious on aps and Abel racing? Need more info on them...

Ben is one of the designers of Core tuning, a program to tune many different ford vehicles. I believe he has a single turbo 03 cobra and a limited 235 mustang.

Specifically, what do you want to know about Abel and APS?

So, gave Abel Racing a call. Very knowledgeable guys there. I troubleshot one of their guys for about 15 minutes. The only downfall is they only tune with Diablo's. For guys like me with SCT's this creates a very small issue of cost. However, I'm going up there next Wednesday to get a couple pulls in and create a base line for their shop to go off of for future tuning when I need it.

CONCLUSION:

Went down to Abel Racing today to get a new dyno done. Very, very knowledgeable dudes. Great shop, gave great advice w/ no B.S. and I'll be getting some work done here in the near future.
