Hollywood seems like an appropriate nickname lol. Amazing that he was just like **** it and took right off after he stopped, I would have been sitting there for a min reevaluating my life.

My daily makes 3000hp. SVTP and I all know what to do when you pedal the car and its only making 2000whp when you're trying to let off. That hundredth of a second when it goes wrong should have been picked up in the thousandth of a second when it happened.

He had a nasty wreck at the Tx mile 2 years ago, in another one of Bises cars and ended up in the hospital.

What a moron, squirrely through-out the whole run yet still tries to drive it one-handed at 190mph.

He's lucky that crash wasn't worse. He needs to have both hands on the wheel at those speeds.

I don't have much XP with chutes but does it seem ok that you have to reach back like that to pull a chute? Seems to me the handle should be in a better place and the driver needs to have a little more common sense.

That's where every chute lever I've ever seen is placed. Gotta know what the **** you're doing though when you go to pull that chute.

Horrible advice. Drive into the chute.

He did **** up but luckily the car wasn't too damaged.

I don't drive with a chute, the point I was trying to make is that whatever the **** he did wasn't correct.. He could have gotten on the brakes the accelerated GENTLY then pulled the chute.. Didn't have to be buried in the gas pedal with one hand and the car out of control then try to pull the chute lol

Or he could have just skipped the chute all together. I've seen cars going 220+ in the 1/2 and don't pull a chute

Sometimes pulling the chute is a way to save the back end. If the chute line hadn't snapped the car very well may not have spun out.

That thing was never going to get the power down no matter how much pedallng he was doing. Either needs rear downforce or less power.

Also its hard to stop a car at those speeds with that front tire. Which I am sure they were running so they wouldn't be mixing bias ply and radials. Which led to them using a chute to do the majority of the braking. Was a good plan til it failed. Glad the dude is alright.

I didn't the chute line snapped, I thought that it was a bad release. That totally sucks then. I also wasn't paying attention to what tire was being ran upfront.. Good call man :)

Pulling the chute is what straightened out the car. Like Erico said the car would have spun out but i think it would have rolled. There are some instances when you must get on gas to straighten out the car in a spin. I have done this a few times myself. Look at some of the Nascar races and when they start to spin you can see the smoke coming off of the rear tires.

We can all argue what the problem in this, and past events, was.....DO NOT LET THIS "DRIVER" RACE YOUR CAR!
