I was having alignment issues with the blower and the car was making 650 @ 20psi.. I wanted to fix it before we tuned it anymore.

I'll post new dyno #s and video this week


Anyone have problems with and flexing with the cog kit?

So, new here, transplanted from the now defunct corral, so I thought this would be a good starting place.

96 Mystic Cobra w/ stock timing cover
1. B-heads
2. T-trim
3. .020 over bore forged internals, ~10 Compression (5 cc dished)
4. Gutted/CNC valve job
5. Comp Cams blower cams
6. Port matched stock bottom, untouched stock upper
7. Intercooled(A/A)
8. Kooks LT's, Kooks 3 in x, Magnaflow mufs through tips
9. RR 3.100, IW 15%, Micro-v green stripe 114 in, Thump tensioner
10. 20 psi at 6800~
11. Modified AFM pipe (blow through slot style MAF)
12. Don't care how much HP, but went 137 mph through the 1320 (3640 race weight)

Those that run Vortechs should add which trim they're running. All the V3 tells us is that it has self contained oiling.

Just got back from the Dyno. Had a good time, was aiming for 500 but came up a little shy. Car made good power, sounds great, and was extremely safe at only 16 degrees of timing.

1998 Gt with Aluminator Short Block
1. 2V with PI heads
2. Vortech SQ
3. Unknown compression
4. Ported Heads - No!
5. Stage 1 cams
6. PI intake
7. A/A intercooler with Treadstone 4.5" core
8. Borla Stinger 99-04 system modified to fit my 98
9. 3.0" ultra grip blower pully and Innovators West 10% overdrive crank
10. 13lbs at 6500k
11. Custom Aluminum Powerpipe
12. 470 rwhp/436 ft tq

Not quite done , but here is where i currently am on my 04 MARAUDER

1) RWHP 761.5 @7K RPM

2) 10.1 Aluminator longblock , stock bore , and stroke

3) 26 PSI

4) Vortech V7 YSI (with Procharger big red bov)

5) 18% IW OD balancer , 3.0 A&A corvette pulley (8 rib)

6) Thump RRR 3 bolt 96-99 tensioner/front cover

7) Stock heads

8) Stock cams

9) Hogans sheetmetal intake (fully ported) Kenne Belle Mamouth throttle body

10) Procharger 1550hp six core Air to Air intercooler

11) Stainlessworks Headers , 3" stainless exhaust , Magnaflow mufflers

12) Full return system , Division X fuel hat (03/04 cobra modified) dual Walbro 400 pumps , -8 feed/return lines , 80lb Siemens/deka injectors , 18* of timing , Alky control dual nozzle Meth kit (straight M1 meth)
