I'm halfway through this thread for the second time. I would like to see BeefCake and CPR race that is all that is needed. Still wish BeefCake would answer CPR.

I have thought about the turbo on the Coyote. My only thing is the car has 82,550 miles already. I would really like to put a turbo on it but how soon until I will have to buy a new engine or have to rebuild this one with the install of a turbo? CPR and JPC are my choices because both have great kits and customer service. JPC pulls ahead because they are 2 hours from me if there is a problem to me they still are some what local.

Don't run the JPC on a start-up tune like some dumbass did and you'll be fine. Have JPC tune it and they'll keep it safe.

I believe he means beating the hell out of it. If you use it to move it around, or loaded onto the trailer, you'll be fine. Just don't go getting stupid with any tune until you've done many logs or dyno tuned. JPC knows what they're doing.

That wasn't a serious question. Maybe I should've put LMAO at the end of the question. But yes I do know that....

Regardless, he's a ****ing idiot for doing so. Also how he tried to get JPC to buy him a motor, LOL.

Sorry Aaron, looks like you should let White Ronnie throw a centri on your car now since apparently Centri kits are faster than turbos now.

Results are in boys. A polite as possible "screw you" to all the guys that said I wouldn't stand a chance with my paxton vs a single turbo.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ntava9g7BKA

Now can we end this "herp derp turbo cars rape all" shit. Thanks.

Edit: More info for everyone since I know people will ask.

My car is on the 3.6 pulley with no torque booster and is tuned by Lund, off road X is only other power adding modification. Full weight car minus front sway bar.

His car is EDP wastegated at 7.5psi tuned by TSS. Only other power adding mod besides the base EDP kit is that he has the "race" downpipe from EDP, meaning larger down pipe that dumps a few feet downward facing the passenger side of the car.

Both are MT82 cars.

He will be running E85 next week probably. My first response will probably be to get a torque booster setup and see if I can still come out ahead without doing any E85/Torco/Meth. If he wins by a large margin octane will likely go up accordingly.

How and Dee Fuggg did I miss this!?!?

Great run!!!

Nice race. That turbo car got drug. Paxton car runs hard

agree

I ran the 3.6 for a while before I dropped gears to the 3.27s and that pulley with the 3.73s did run real well.

Great race!

Alright so I'm just going to assume Vendor on Vendor flaming is allowed and absolutely hilarious keep going. Cleary someone needs to invite a TVS rep in hear so all sides can be represented equally.

Now to kinda back to the point of this all.

What is the most reliable day to day kit?

Fuel mileage?

Service requirements?

Installation time and skill required?

And literally which kit is BOLT in? By this I agree that no matter what the car should be taking and have dyno tune done it just makes sense, bare min a good data log session.

Power.. come on the all make power at 550-600rwhp easily.

I listened to the centri BOV vids, gotta say kinda annoying with the whistle/squeal constantly going, but each to their own.

Haven't seen a vid of a turbo car just out for a cruise.

JPC kit has been on my car for over 1.5 years now with no issues. Car is a DD. Fuel mileage varies from 12mpg-24mpg depending on fuel type and how Im driving it. Installed the kit by myself on jackstands working on it every evening after work for 3 days. Car is ran at the track a minimum of one weekend a month. There have been months where I ran it every weekend at the track. It is one of those slow stick cars so its only been high 9's so far. Gonna try more boost at BG this year and see if I can get on the bottom half of 9's.
