I did this once when going to the track and didn't get a chance to install them back right away. It sucks for everyday driving IMO

confirmed: driving on skinnies and cornering is WAY sketchier than not having the front sway.

i don't even think twice about the sway.

Driving without a front sway bar isn't as big of a deal as most people may think. If this was a Ford Explorer it would be a major issue but with these later model cars its barley noticable.

I've driven the white boss 302 to the track many of times (which you need to take some windy back roads to get there) and never once had a moment where I missed the front sway bar. The cars handle fine without it. Yes, it may not be ideal for someone going to a road course or autocross day, but neither is a large turbine wheel that comes with a Borg Warner turbo.

The fact that I like to maybe autox like once a year and also hit he Black Hills curves pretty hard a couple times a year, not want to lose the sway.

Anyhow, I'm wondering how non-linear these powerbands are with these kits as well. I'm really doing research on all three fronts, as I'm not sure which method I want to go with this time around. I did the 2.3 roush last time. Right now, I'm looking between a turbo vs a Paxton setup (as that linear powerband is pretty nice). I didn't want to get into one of those threads; rather, just research them all separately and decide that way.

Just get a paxton or single turbo set up and go from there. If you have the money I'd go single. If you don't want your wallet raped go paxton. EDP is a great choice for the lower-cost turbo kit. If you want to spend more and get a better kit, JPC or CPR options are very viable too.

Don't do cams or heads, it's a pointless waste of money, just give that money you'd waste on cams & heads to me because justinsstang. Want more power? Build the block and run more boost.

Any differences in installation such as tapping the oil pan or anything?

Ours would probably be a longer install than any kit out there because of the extra parts the kit includes, that need to be installed. Kmember, turbo blanket, they half cores support, etc. but we can provide a pan w a welded bung if you want. Or ship us yours, weld it and send back w your kit.

That's one way to look at it. The other way is to spend the money now, or get raped by a turbo. Lol

W the smaller turbine spool is pretty much instant. This is what the graph looks like w an auto, E85.
Important here is the engine making high rpm power. Some kits get lots of praise, but have the rpm range of a diesel.

This is a video of what that graph translates to in real life.

Kit and welding your pan would be 7349. We do have a military discount and **** the CC fee discount as well.

Maybe on built motor. Stock block centri vs turbo isn't that much different. And on built motor either way can get you in the 8s as has been seen before. Turbo is of course easier to get there, but I chose paxton because I'm staying stock block and not paying someone 7k for a single turbo kit lol.

okay, our car went 8.7's heavier than stock @ 3875lbs with the ysi, and now 8.1's with the jt @ 3400

whats the quickest 3link coyote cpr??

Armageddon cars have been 8.2s or 8.1's I think.

Lol, don't lie to people. You're not running a JT to 8.1's. Care to tell the truth there?
And you needed a custom intercooler.

Gotta love when people completely change and customize their stuff compared to what the general public can't actually buy. Then brag about the numbers they produce like it can easily be duplicated. For those guys,....

lol, always got an answer why your cars are slower.....

I'm not opposed to turbo

as far as turbo kits, if you want to spend big $$, the Armageddon kit is an amazing kit we offer and will put it all over the cpr kit,

and if you want a single kit, we offer the edp at very reasonable pricing
