Do these have internal check valves? These are the ones I am running and plan to use one as a primary and one on a hobbs switch.

No. I run a 340lph as primary and a 465 on a hobbs no issues on a Fore hat. Fore has a check valve you install on the feed line now by the filter.

What? Mine have check valves. I run them staged with no issues. Also when I turn the ignition on a single pump primes for a second and shuts off and pressure stays in the line as verified by the pressure gauge on my fuel rails.

IIRC talking to Justin at Fore these ti automotive 39/50 pumps the 350,405 and 465 have no check valves. Not that it matters I have zero issues as well running them on and off staged. The 465 does have an internal pressure relieve valve and bypass inside the casing so what small amount may go through there when the pump isn't on is negligible and wont effect the pump or system.

I have not opened up the pumps so I have no idea if there really is a check valve or not. More correctly my answer should say they sure behave like they have one so there are no issues with staging the pumps. As I mentioned above even when I turn off the key they hold fuel pressure in the lines for some time. Whether there's a check valve in them or it's just that hard for fuel to reverse flow through them I have no idea.
