What wheel offset do these cars need for proper fitment. I've been debating on buying new wheels for a set of drag radials for the summer. Do these cars use the same offset as the 05-14 cars? I know the brakes are larger so wheel height has to be 17"s or larger from what I understand.

It really completely depends on the width of the wheels you want to go with.
8.5”=+28 to +38mm
9”= +35 to +38mm
9.5”=+33 to +42mm
10”=+40 to +48mm
10.5”=+45 to +50mm
11”=+55mm

Ive done a little bit of searching for mine. I am getting 19x9.5s and 19x11’s and if you have the Performance Pack for the GT with the larger Brembos, like I do you need a +35mm in the front and +55mm in the rear to clear them. Information is from Forgestar and other brands on American Muscle’s site. I haven’t read anything regarding non performance pack brakes or aftermarket BBK’s.

If someone is more knowledgeable than me on this subject, fell free to correct me.

I have a GT PP with 19X10 +40's in front and back and they clear without an issue.

In the end every wheel is different, clearances will be different depending on the barrel design and what brakes you have, there is no golden fitment.

^This is correct.
There are millions of different setups and its impossible tell if it will exactly work unless you try it or have seen exactly what you want done already.

Budwise, do you by chance have a picture of the clearance of the spokes and front Brembos?
I believe you. I just want to see what the +40mm looks like.
I am going +36mm on the fronts and if +40mm looks too close, i have to change my order asap.

I've just got a base gt not a pp. I'm looking to do a 10 while wheel in the back so I can run a wider tire for summer use. Not so much big and Littles just more rear tire.

Im curious if my Forgestar F14's would clear and be close to flush?

19x10 DC +28 and 19x11 SDC +37

No way that will work. The offset up front and on the rear is way too aggressive, and more importantly super deep concave fitment wheels will not work on the S550 platform in any fitment that will not look ridiculous. In order to clear the brakes the offset would be so aggressive the wheel would sit outside the fenders, so not a good look.

A good fitment that I usually see for the S550's is 9.5 ET35 and 10.5 ET45, that's what we prefer so that we can use thick and meaty tires as well.

if your looking for a drag setup, we have the racestars and the welds. 17x9.5 or 18x10.5 rear, and depending on front brakes. 17x4.5, 17x7, 18x5

let me know if we can help out

My wheel specs are as follows:

WORK Wheels CR-2P

20x10 +38 w/5mm spacer so their flat center caps will fit with 285/35/20 Hankook Ventus RS-3

20x11 +45 with 305/35/20 Hankook Ventus RS-3.

Front and rear are the super deep discs as this is a 2 piece wheel.

Can anyone confirm a wheel fitment for me?

I'm looking at going with a TSW Nurburgring 19X9.5 ET41 square setup (275/40/19 Michelin Super Sport's). Based off a couple wheel offset calculator sites, it shows that the inner edge of the wheel will be 20mm closer to the strut and will the outer edge of the wheel will be 18mm closer to the fender.

These measurements are based off using the stock 18" wheel offsets which are 18X8 ET40. Another consideration worth mentioning would be that the car will also be receiving BMR lowering springs.

Does anyone see any possible fitment issues with the above wheel / tire size / offset / springs setup??

Thanks in advance!!

-Nick
