Yeah looks like I might have to do that... I was hoping there was something I could buy. Is it hard to get the heat exchanger off?

Not really, it's probably harder to get all of the other stuff off than heat exchanger itself.

I want a stencil as well, can someone help me on how they made their own stencil?

Well...radiator cover, under car deflectors, the bumper, a few air ducts in the upper grill. Then you have to drain the coolant out but once thats done, its like 4 bolts for the exchanger itself and out she comes. I'm assuming you have a 13/14 gt500 so you don't have to worry about the intercooler pump, but you may have to unhook that hose as well.

Also, try to keep the bolts you take off with the parts they came from. I was in the hurry and made the mistake of just tossing everything to the side...putting the car back together was not pleasant.

Haha I don't think you'll be able to. I have your stock H/E on my car and there isn't any room with the bumper still on. It's honestly not as bad as it sounds. In fact, I just plan on painting it while still on the car. It sticks down more than enough to accomplish the job.

Since it would be your first tie taking everything off, I think you could have it done in 2 hours, not including time to paint. If you don't remove the H/E, you don't have to worry about draining any coolant which makes life easier. Have a buddy you trust help you and you can do it in half the time, mainly the removal of the bumper so you don't scratch anything

I had a local vinyl shop cut me 4 of them of different sizes to use as a stencil. I think it was $10 for all of them and I picked the one that fit best in the grill opening.

Make sure you raise it up into the opening. If you put it at the bottom like Shelby did it looks horrible. I went up 4 rows and still think it is too low. From 10 foot and standing up it is perfect, but from oncoming traffic level it is only partially visible.

I have one I made out of card stock so it can be reused a bunch of times. If anyone wants, PM me and we can get something figured out for you to borrow it ( I need it back for future projects). It folds in half for fairly easy shipping too!

That's cheap. I would go that route if I were to do it over again. This thing took forever to make.

I used rostoleum white paint. Pretty basic, it's got a decent temp rating so I'm not worried about anything heat wise. You can get it just about anywhere for $6 or so. One can more than does the job
