I wanted to freshen up the interior of my 03 Cobra with something different but at the same time keep it subtle. After bouncing some ideas off Waylon at TMI we came up with a game plan. I ended up with a one off design that retained the factory look but added a custom touch that only enthusiasts would pick up on. Went with a charcoal suede center, white stitching and white cobra emblems. Also did a matching shift boot and ebrake cover. Everything except the ebrake cover showed up yesterday. Basically you get brand new covers and new foam. Zporta came over and we began the install. We had done a TMI interior earlier in the year on his GT500 so we had a good idea what we were up against. Zak was a huge help. Here are the pics from day one. We worked on it for around 3hrs and got this far...

I wanted something different and opted for a set of Halo headrests. I can switch back and forth to the stock headrests if I want.

That's about where we stopped last night. Still need to put the drivers seat in and install the headrests. The back of the rear seat is done as well, just needs put back in the car. I'm still looking for a donor rear bench seat as you reuse the stock foam for that one. Also have to install the shift and e-brake boot. Once its complete I'll go back and steam them which will remove any wrinkles or spots I couldn't get smoothed out. So far I'm extremely happy with the whole process. TMI has been great and the quality and fitment is awesome. I'll work on it some more this evening and probably wrap it up this weekend. Can follow the install on instagram as well @baggedcobra.

Lookin good so far.

I may have to start a set myself, my seats are light grey as well.

It's going to look badass..

How much for the seat frames these days?

Thanks... You pick up frames locally or online?

I bought them off craigslist locally. They were just your basic cloth stock seats. I got them home and removed the nasty cloth covers and oem foam. Only reused the metal frames. Ideally you want to find the crappiest seats you can to get the best deal. Doesn't matter if they are from a V6 or GT, all the frames are the same. I could have reused my stock seat frames but was farther ahead by selling my stock cobra interior in tact and picking up the extra frames.

Very slick... can't wait to see it finished. I am so torn between keeping the factory color scheme (grey suede) or going with a charcoal suede like you did.
