Ok so I have this set right now on a car I just bought. Just to confirm and I'm sure you've been asked this a million times. But I have the two hoses coming out of the top and ito the Y block cap, vent just goes out a tube to atmosphere.then the lower radiator has the T stat in it. Not sure the temp. But it goes right from the radiator to the block. theres no bypass or anything. My car doesn't overheat but is this the right way. How does the T sat work from the bottom "cooler" hose. Should I have the lowest temp T stat in there. Or is putting in in the upper hose better. Thank you for your help.

MMR, please answer this. I've looked, but so many people do different things. I have the unit without the filler. But where does the temp sensor go?
And now the t-stat at the lower hose, like landonvan said, how does it work? Since that bypass hose is now gone.

The senor goes in 1 of the 2 holes on the Y block, the lower hose need to have the "T" portion removed so that the bypass line is removed, the lower hose simply goes from the radiator to the block (or to MMR inline thermostat if one is being used)

not sure if this was asked but how does this system get bled? and since you convert to the inline thermostat housing what happens with the expansion tank and the hose from radiator to expansion tank do you cap them off?

It gets bled through the pipe ports in the Y block, If you remove the reservoir you need the filler style, this allows you to delete the reservoir but you need to add a small recovery tank. The Y hose going up to the reservoir gets deleted, this is accomplished by simply adding the inline thermostat to the lower hose and cutting out the small hose/T section that goes to the reservoir.

Im not following how this delete works.... The stock coolant crossover has 4 ports, one that goes to each side of the motor, one that goes to the hose going to the radiator, and one going to the hose feeding the tstat housing down low. This kit shows it Y's off from the upper radiator hose to each side of the motor. So what happens to the hose supplying the tstat housing??
