I received my replacement. Thanks. Do you want me to ship the first one back to you? Looks like you could have the machine shop remove some threads and it'd be fixed and could send out to someone else.

Received my new plug with a hole drilled for a sensor. Fit in flush like a Boss! Thanks a lot!

Pics? I'm curious what sensor and how it looks. I have a speed hut temp sensor in the block just around the driver's motor mount area and I don't like how it can get way off from ECU readings at times. Not sure if ambient temps affect it, been right by the manifold or maybe the block at times is just hotter than the top of the motor. Wouldn't mind considering moving the sensor up top for gauge readings more inline with what I data log.

Malcom,

I have yet to put the sensor in but will eventually. I would veer away from a temp sensor located on a shorting engine block. The crossover is an excellent spot. The only issue is that you have to have an ugly wire sticking out of it.

Malcolm and Troy - I know for a fact that the 1/8" NPT threads in the tapped plugs will fit Speedhut and Autometer. I assume that there are other brands that will fit as well but I cannot verify that. Hope this info helps!

Very cool. I actually didn't order a tapped plug, didn't even realize that was an option till I saw Troy talking about. Maybe I'll get another one from you down the line and change things up a little.

I'll keep an eye out for it. Thanks

If you don't have it by next week shoot me a PM and I will get you taken care of.

I would bet it shows up...it seems like shipping to the East coast or just Eastern states in general is where I see all the delays. Which makes zero sense.
