So im going E85 in the next month or so and im really on the fence on what pumps to buy. do i go twin 465s or would 3 of the AEM 320s be a better choice? are there any better brands out there? anyone had any issues with these pumps?

Best performing pumps I have seen on corn over the years.
-gt500 pumps
-ford gt supercar pumps
-walbro 255lph gss pumps (gerotor)
-Aem-e 340lph
-walbro 465

Pumps I have had or seen issues with in corn
-aeromotive stealth 340
-lethal stryker 340
-deatswcherks 320

I would rather run two pumps than three any day. All depends on what your power goals are. You gain nothing by completely over "pumping" your setup, Just adds heat and wears the pumps faster. Always good to have wiggle room though, I like to have 10-20% more pump and injector than what I actually need.

I'm currently running a staggered pump set up. I have an AEM-E 340lph pump as my always on/key on pump (you don't need 800-1000lph of flow banging though the lines and rails when just idling or cruising) and then my second pump is a walbro 465lph pump that comes on when needed on a hobbs switch. My setup is rated to around 900rwhp on corn and a dual 465 setup would be good to around 1000rwhp on corn.

I've seen a very similar set up to mine hit 820 to the wheels so I'd say I'd be able to push 750 or more. I'd like pumps that I'd never have to worry about not having enough fuel. The car has a fore triple hat so that's really the only reason I'm considering 3. Never hurts to run 2 and have the 3rd turned off just in case you need it

Sounds like a plan! I would do the aem-e 340's then. I run a Fore setup as well with their fc3 staged controller, love it.

I really need to see exactly how mine is set up cause it may be something like that. I know my fuel pressure goes up with heavy boost

I've had two Jayracing "pro" 044 pumps mounted outside the tank, pushing nothing but E85 for about 2 years now and I've been very happy with them. I recommend them over any other pump besides Magnafuel.

It should as long as your fuel pressure regulator is boost referenced like it should be, the fuel psi at the back of the injector in the rails has to go up to over come boost pressure in the cylinder as it goes up. So if your running a base fuel pressure of 40psi at the regulator and you run 20lbs of boost, rail pressure will need to be 60psi to maintain a 40psi delta across the injectors and maintain pulse flow.

That's a great article, thanks for the link.

FWIW OP I am running a triple Fore hat setup with 3- Walbro GSS342 pumps on a return setup with no issues. These pumps have been in the car for a few years now and still run great.

every little bit helps and its always helpful when ppl have been running a pump for awhile and can attest to its performance

044 is a bosch pump that has been used in porsches for a LONG time. They have long been considered a very high quality high flow OEM pump. Much better than Walbro.

They are available from Jayracing. They can be found on ebay but you are likely to get a chinese knockoff...

Jayracing reverse engineered the 044 and replaced the plastic impeller with a ceramic one (according to his marketing specs). They are actually less than the Bosch pump so I decided to give them a shot and have been quite pleased.

I have used walbros in the past and have seen some do some bad things. They have always struck me as being an inexpensive pump. The BS they pulled with their 455 pumps that were initially claimed to be E85 compatible, then turned not compatible after a bunch of people had extremely early life failure pretty much sealed it for me. Walbro at a minimum should have refunded or given out E85 compatible upgrade pumps free of charge.

700-750 with a twinscrew likely. Mine were at 100% DC with a 12:1 AFR at 705rwhp with no bap on 100 octane. I'm figuring a BAP would be good for another 30-40%
