This may sound like an odd question, but does anyone know if any manufacturer makes something to cover the underside of a 2011+ GT? I need something to prevent cats from getting into my engine. I've searched around and can't seem to find what I'm looking for. I suppose I could have sheet metal custom made to do the trick, but that would just add weight.

I know there are other solutions (antifreeze, bait cages, shotgun) to my problem, but not sure any would meet the approval of the Mrs.

Just had to replace an A/C belt (and euthanize a cat) and I really don't want to have to do that again.

Would there be something similar to chicken wire you could get for cheap and fashion to the underside? Interesting problem, can't say I'd ever have thought that to be an issue

Don't the serious BOSS 302 models (S and R) have full underbody panels for aerodynamics? Something like that will probably cost a pretty penny, but it will be OEM fit and finish.

I would've thought that a full under body panel could cause cooling issues. I guess that isn't the case if they are being used in competition.

I don't know of anything that goes past the rear side of the K member. My boss has something that goes from the front splitter to under the K (maybe the GT has it too) but not past that.

I wish MY wife's cat would climb up inside my engine compartment.

LMAO! I had one crawl into my 86 Cougar LS (5.0) about 24 years or so ago. I started the car up one Fall morning and heard something bang around in the engine bay a couple times and then the car stalled and then a black flash shot out of the front of the car. Fuc&ing cat!
