OP, you've sold me on the Dark Stars. I've been flip flopping between the Race Stars and some Bronze TSW Nurburgrings. I'm gonna to with the 15x10s in the back with a 325/55R15 555r.

Now I just need to buy before I change my mind again. Lol

Car looks awesome!

Have either of you run at the track on the 555r? How did they hook. I have been thinking of getting another set of rear wheels/tires and putting M/T ET streets on them.

over the past year, the 17x7's have grown in popularity, ever since we put them on the red car, I have been pushing them like crazy. the handling / stopping difference from the 185/55 on a 4.5 to a 215/55, 215/60, 225/55, 225/60 is night and day.

not to mention, tires can be had for about 60-70 vs $200 for the m&h or hoosier front runners, and they will last quite a bit longer

the 17x7 with either a 15x8 or 15x10 is our most popular combo now

Anyone with 18x10.5 rears?

I don't have yet but I am strongly condsidering it for my street tires and just using the 15x10s at the track. The only thing holding me back is the cost of the wheels/tires versus another set of 15's.

I got mine mounted last night. Not the greatest picture. 17x7 with 225/55 on the front and 15x10 with 275/60 hoosiers on the rear.

Lol you're making the right decision if you go with dark stars!!

Thanks man...That's it even if I didn't plan on racing the car they make it look so mean people on your daily commute think you're John Force when you look over and give them the vampire look!

I'm going to run mine at the strip once my BMR LCA/UCA/rear adjustable shock setup is on my car hopefully by next week!

How do the 275/60/15 nitto 555Rs hook on the street?

Not sure if it matters that mine are on 15x8's out back but they hook VERY well on the street!

What rear gears do you have?

Here is mine on 18" nittos at the track. Completely stock suspension.

Looks to me like the Nitto's are GETTIN IT in that pic! Nice I'm expecting my 275/60/15 Nitto's to do quite well at the track with my new BMR rear setup I'm about to install.

I was surprised how well they did. I think they can do better. I wanna see some 1.5X 60's with them before I put suspension stuff on it.
