so I took my stock hp 13 auto to the local track today.
stock p zeros, stock exhaust (steeda ab's), no tune, stock airbox etc...

the only things I did before going is: remove rear seat, remove spare and jack, and remove front sway bar. half tanks of gas.

first run was my best. did not power brake. left at idle and flashed converter. ran 8.30@87mph. (1/8th mile track)
tried power braking and spun several times. ran a series of 8.30's-8.40's pretty consistant.

this is a good base line test, so now I know what my additions will gain.

my question is: does this seem right? it equals to about 12.8-12.9 quarter mile.:??:

Yup. 1st time at the track mine went 8.4 1/8th and 12.9 1/4. With mufflers and perfect conditions I ran 8.18/12.59@111

I went 8.21 in the 1/8 and 12.63 in the 1/4 baselining mine. Car was completely stock with nothing taken out of the car.

In my case I ran a 12.9 @113 with a 8.6 1/8th and 2.2 60ft.:nonono:
Your 1/4 may be a tad quicker.

1/8-mile to 1/4-mile ET conversion table
According to that conversion table I should have run a 13.4, guess I picked up a fair amount on the back half.

I couldn't cut a 60' on the stock tires.
2.09 was my best. to much throttle on the launch just spun.

Yeah the 60 hurt you. I cut my best 60s by bringing it up to about 1K RPM and then flash the converter on the 3rd light. Cut 1.9 60s all night. If I left from idle I just spun.
