What oil should I use

I've been using Amsoil 10w30 signature series, and changing it every 6 months at around 6-7000 miles.

Car is a street car, but plan on taking it to the track (1/4) one day.

What would be the best oil to use with my setup?

I would stick with what you are running or potentially go to AMSOIL 10W-40 Signature Series.

You are correct, I meant 10W-40 XL but Dominator Racing Oil would definitely work. I would ask the OP how often he is planning on getting to the track? If he is religiously changing every six months then I see no need for him to run Dominator Racing Oil.

I haven't taken the car to the track yet.

At most it will be 1-2 times a year.
Most hard driving is done on the street. 40-140 with a couple dig runs thrown in.

dominator 10w30. every 6 months change.

and if store in winter change before go into storage, then when pull out go for a good drive to burn off any/all condensation. 45-60 minute drive.

I the car is only driven maybe 500 miles a year and doesn't see the track, should the oil be changed every 6 months or is that unnecessary?
