A panhard brace is designed by OEM / Engineers to structurally support the Panhard Mounting bracket / system.

Over time, on a panhard bar suspension, the panhard bar mounting bracket tends to get fatigued. When this point is fatigued, it wants to distort....and when it distorts, the factory POS support brace allows it to do-so, to a certain "degree".

We have been building parts for panhard bar suspensions longer than any of our S197 competitors....so this is of course why we came to the market with that piece before anyone else. We see it everyday, a customer with a 1982 Camaro that has a panhard bar mount that is all out of whack.

Great question! I am surprised more people do not ask me this.
Stock one is absolute junk. For around $100, the support brace was a no-brainer for me…. Thanks for the explanation Kelly.

Hey Kelly I have question, Why does my car do this?

BMR ftw

Kelly recommended me changing my uca mount hole and using some relo brackets and I got my first wheelie and it was hooking. Full weight 2012 premium still have the way bar on.

Awesome! What all do you have suspension wise? Still running the stock rear and clutch?

Kelly, I have the BMR Lowering spring package and UCA w/mount on my '14 GT. I also have the MM CC plates. I have some popping/noise in the strut area. I'm getting ready to install some Strange single adjustable struts and the Viking double adjustable shocks. Any advice on how I may be able to fix the noise? I was previously running stock struts/shocks and thought that was probably the issue. Just looking for your 2 cents as well. Thanks!

IDK if this has been asked before, but i wanna start shaving some weight. And i saw the rad support without front sway bar is 100 bucks. The weight loss is pretty decent to to justify 100 bucks.

Now my question is, how daily-able is the car without front sway? I keep seeing that it handles just fine and to just not jerk the car on the highway. I wonder if yall would have some experience with this. I dont do some crazy turns or anything. Could be cause i dont **** around in the cold and dont need the rear end stepping out on an on ramp lol.

The car is extremely dailyable when on regular street wheels without the front swaybar. As mentioned earlier just don't jerk the wheel on the highway. When on skinnies it is much more noticeable but possibly still dailyable.

BMR Tech: I was reviewing the video of my current personal best n/a pass and noticed the car doing something a little goofy. It seems to be shaking it's ass each shift. Any idea what might cause this and a solution to fix it?

It looks like it shifts to the driver's side on each shift.. odd

That's how a pan hard bar suspension acts when drag racing. The only way to lessen it is to stiffen the shocks.

Welcome to the S197. :)

Interesting. Ok. As soon as I get the rest of my suspension I can work on stiffening up the rear.

Ok mr. BMR Tech i need some advise. i am shooting for a 11sec pass on street tires. and getting close.
best so far is a 12.09 but it has yet to be repated, i get consisten 12.2xx passes.
my mods were lowering springs not sure brand as i bought it used, they are blue is all i know. and the lca's are solid aftk pieces with poly bushings. i have the bmr adj phb also.
I just installed lca adj brackets with arm in lowest hole, hoping for my 11.999! BUT
I did get a more solid launch actually bogged it more so i adjusted tire psi and get a better hit just a slight spin and did better my time by 5 hundreths.
So next???? uca going on this weekend.??? and what do i do next? front or rear shocks??
