im am searching options for a single turbo for my new 13 auto.
I've been studying the jpc kit, but I just don't like taking the sway bar off the front.
there are some results from the cprsm kit. but no web info.

now my question...
if I was to limit the power to 650 to the wheels, is the hellion single good?
I know of the restriction of the pre turbo piping. from what I gather ,that is only an issue at max effort hp.
I like the remote turbo and the sump pump for the oil doesn't bother me. the turbo is of good materials as far as I can tell also.

my goals are not a engine build any time soon.so 625-650 to the wheels is the absolute limit. I know I could Paxton,vmp,roush,etc...
but I am really wanting to turbo this car.

any input?

I'm not a single turbo owner, but i figure i could still give you some input.
I took my front sway bar off and I could not tell the difference one bit.
I believe you would be happy with either the JPC or CPR kit, both are great options. It's a matter of preference.

The CPR and JPC kits both use quality components and will get you solid results. A couple of things that would push me towards the CPR are retaining the sway bar, recirculated wastegate, and price includes ceramic coating on hot side. There may not be as much info but I have found plenty of people on here run that kit.

I wouldn't put a hellion single back on my car if it was free. Pull the sway bar off your car and drive around to see if you can live with it. I've had mine off for over a year, it's really not noticable.

why?
that's what im looking for. lots of people got on the band wagon when the kit came out bashing the flow restrictions.

My good buddy runs hellion single without any issues up to 9#. Trust me when I say he pushes it hard. He doesn't plan to go past 650whp either...

I may get a newer 5.0 Mustang soon. If so, I intend to get the CPR kit.
Dustin is not (and does not have) a web guy. Call him, and have time to talk, if you need information.

I promise you that you will eventually get bored with 650hp and desire more. It is inevitable...

Like i told the guy i sold my hellion kit too. If you're happy with 550-600 to the wheel the hellion kit is great. If you want more either be prepared to modify it and spend some extra money or you're a ticking time bomb. If your budget is 3500-4000 id save up another 2-3k and just get a better quality kit that can support 650 easy.

I would say thats the one down fall to our kit for some people... the sway bar.

Like others have said you can try removing it and ride around i honestly dont notice it.

If you would like to talk about any of the options i will be at the shop most of the day and would be happy to give you my honest opinion.

If your not DEAD set on a turbo...and only looking for 650rwhp worth of street power...why not go with a PD blower?

Otherwise, JPC or CPR kits are going to get you a well designed kit that was thought out from start to finish!

Its hard to beat a PD blower car on the street. And this is coming from a CPR turbo owner.

I am with Mastwolf on this. For that power put a TVS on it and be done. Turbo's are way cool but not worth the headache for that power level.
