AED + Beefcake Paxton kit with torque booster on E85 = Fun!

Title says it all! Just got done with a upgrade to my paxton kit. I first started off with the Beefcake special with ID1000,stock pulley and a vortech BAP at 17.5 V. I then started dyno tuning on E85 and put down 730rwh and 521 ft/lbs. Raced a few people and met up with a nasty Kenne bell supercharged Cobra Terminator putting down some good numbers close to 650+ with 600 ft/lbs. It was way to close of a race for me ( around a fender ahead). I then wanted more but was limited by my vortech BAP so I tried switching to a JMS BAP at 21 Volts. This still was not enough and would leaning out above 7000 rpm and couldnt keep up with the HP I was sitting at so I had to turn to a return style fuel system. I got in contact with Dustin at CPR in San diego to install my JPC triple pump Y Block fuel system. During that time I wanted to boost up the Torque so I grabbed a Wastegate from beefcake along with a new Gates belt. Just got off the dyno with some interesting numbers. This was with a 3.33 Pulley and wastegated with the 9.78 lb spring. I have a Boss 302 intake manifold as well. This is the same dyno before and after.

Gained a LOT of mid range and Torque was way up. lost a lot of top end though. I wanted to give Dustin at CPR a big shout out for working on my kit and taking the time to get it all done even though he was busy working on his trans break system. Here are some pic of the fuel system we installed.

Looks like the Boss IM does a LOT better at RPM than the GT intake with the wastegate setup as I expected.

An 11PSI spring should allow you to pop 700 again.

So you lost top end power. Is the car faster then before by a Lil or a lot

Awesome! Definitely excited about this. Would also be curious with the 3.1 and 11lb spring and boss Intake. Im just looking to hold power to 7k like I do now

Nice Notchy. I'll be going to a return style fuel system in the spring to run the corn.

Just run the cobra again, that should be a very accurate test to see how the power delivery has changed.

Yeah thats the plan, I should have a before and after video made of the race. Should show some real world gains. Excited to try it out tonight and dial the tune in as well.

Much better curve with the wastegate! And a lot of power for only 9.78 psi (if that's what the boost is at).

Still interested in seeing someone put on a real small pulley.

yeah I mean it would hit 10lbs at some RPM but usually stayed below... I ended up switching it out for the 11lbs spring, more dyno numbers soon....

Nice, in for the dyno numbers. Im thinking about swapping to the 11lb myself. Right now I'm about to get some good tires in a 15" when I got it set on kill. My 0-60 is only low 4s on street tires and that's with a lot of peddling the throttle.

How is the car putting down power with the nt05rs now? You able to hook up in third? Maybe even 2nd??
