Once you get one you will wonder why you waited so long. Have patients and choose the right one for you, it took me a year or so to acquire one.
Ryan is a birddog, he was a great help in finding and negotiating the deal. He is also a regular on this forum. Give him a buzz and explain what you want, he comes across a lot of cars.

What color, what year and what options?
I know a guy who was thinking of selling his. Not sure what he would want but he said would put a number on it and if got it or close would sell it.

Ideally an 05/06 with less than 10k miles. More importantly no accidents/paint work/history. The more options the better and my top colors would be Blue, Black, Tungsten, White. I would still consider something missing options or a different color. There's not a whole lot on the market so let me know what he has or have him call/email me. Thanks!

Unfortunatley for us the prices seem to continue to rise on these cars. I have been looking since June for a private sale and they are few and far between. Dont let a non option car bother you. Stripe delete is preferred by many, wheels can be purchased, side stripe decals added and who cares about the stereo.
This is a private sale. 10k on the clock, white blue stripes. The owner says it is in excellent condition and no stories. Last time I checked he wanted ~ $185k.

Yes, actually the Ford GT is bringing far above its original MSRP. Judging by recent sales activity around the net and auction prices, the grey one a the MB dealer is very reasonably priced. Right in line with the market. The fact that it has no options is holding it back. I would bet there is also a bit of wiggle room but a no stories low mile GT for under 200k is getting hard to find now.
We have a 2006 4 option Blue with White Tripe one with 10k miles, very clean no accidents or paintwork, clean car fax. If interested shoot me a PM. Thanks
Hello all. I don't get to this forum too often but I am a GT owner and additionally operate a small hobby business specializing only in work on GTs. We are routinely doing PPI inspections around the country on Ford GTs and I am sorry to say that there is an ever-increasing number of cars with a very shady history that is not revealed. It is imperative that you have a GT expert look at a given car. It doesn't have to be us, of course, but make sure it is someone like us who has worked on 100 or more GTs to know what is normal and what is not. For example, we recently inspected a GT represented as a "pristine", no accident, no paint history car. The car did look very good and I think that 90% of inspectors would have agreed. However, our attention was called to the use of non-OEM fasteners in the wheel well liner. (Nice fasteners, mind you, but not OEM and different than the other side.) Further inspection revealed that all of the wheel weights were OEM - except for the wheel on that corner. Closer inspection of the fender to door alignment gap was the third strike. The car was a nice car but there was definitely a prior mishap that was trying to be covered up.
OK, how about the Houston car. No need to travel to inspect that one! Clean carfax (although admittedly a very weird one). But, the car is a TOTAL repaint and really quite easy to tell. That gray is MUCH darker than the OEM Tungsten car. If you put them side by side it would be easy to see. But, if you go to their website and look closely at the pic that has the door jam VIN sticker - you can see the darker paint in clear contrast to the OEM paint around this sticker. This is an easy one. Does it mean that it is a bad car? Not necessarily, but hopefully they are honest about its past and priced accordingly.
