Im getting my Paxton "beefcake special" installed as we speak now. Im getting a remote dyno tune done by shaun at AED. My kit is the tuner paxton kit with ID1000, votrech BAP, O/R X pipe, boss manifold and JLT intake, brisk spark plugs. I will be first tuning on 91 octane with a 32oz Bottle of torco then switching to E-85 for some big numbers. I will be posting a full build thread and dyno charts along with some video via a GoPro hero 3. Im running the stock pully as well. What do you guys expect the number will be with E-85? 6m speed btw

Well they just did a paxton car that made like 723 on E85.. I'd assume somewhere in that neighborhood.

The only mod he has on me is headers. I have a O/R X pipe, do you still think 700 Hp is a long shot? Also how long would a motor last on e-85 hovering around the 670+ HP range DD and driving hard on weekends

I'd give it six months. Depends on how hard you beat on it.

I have been dd my paxton on 93 for about 9k miles. When I get my JPC return fuel system I will be going to 3.6" pulley and E85, I am going safer tune so only shooting for 650+ whp.

Probably most 4.6 owners it does lol... Not me.. I haven't lost to a S/C'd 5.0 yet.. one was AED tuned and a TVS the other a Vortech.. Numbers are just that numbers... Granted Marks (FIFTY) TVS is a straight beast.. Doesn't really make me ill though.. I mean you know my setup lol.. I'm down to line up against any SC'd 5.0 lol.

It'll make good power still.. Probably high 600's low 700's.. But I'd just say high 600's for shits and giggles.. Try not to get caught up in the numbers game.. It should last a long time. E85 is crazy..

Seriously? You think we have these cars in boost 100% of the time? These blowers are the easiest on the motor. As long as he takes car of it no one knows when it will pop.

Op don't use torch during tuning. That shit can make our cars idle bad if you use it a lot. Happened to me. Just use it when you wanna go race as a safety.

Sh*t, I sure hope not....If that's the case I need to move my ass, run 9's, then put the STOCK pulley back on :cryying:

I have to agree, I know the motor will last more then 6 months as I'm comuting 90% of my drive on freeway. Only real time ill be on boost is freeway on ramps and 1 weekend a month drag racing or some freeway pulls. As for the torco I'm only using it for long distance trips where e-85 is not around. But for the most part ill be using e-85 90% of the time.

I would love to line my 5.0 up with a 4.6 and see what happens. Track or freeway pulls.

I won't use torso ever again unless someone wants to run me only with pump gas but I do t have and grudge racers calling me out so the last full can of torch I have might never get used.

Yes, seriously, maybe you are forgetting that I've had two of these cars and hurt the motor in both being fairly aggressive with boost.
