I have seen cars completely sprayed with dip and if done PROPERLY it can turn out pretty good. Do your homework and do it right if you are going to.

If you want a flat colored car, I guess. In pictures sometimes they look nice, but in person I've never liked flat look. They do have gloss-like coat you can do now, I've never seen the result.

Plastidip however is awesome stuff. Go get a can and paint trunk lid or something to test it out, $6 investment... maybe 2 cans for trunk, I dunno.

I just used it on my wheels. Holds up fine. It only got messed up when I got new tires put on. I didn't try to repair, I just peeled off (which is a PITA if you don't put it on thick enough) and re-sprayed.

Held up for 8+ months on wheels though. Not sure what more you could expect for the price.

They also make remover spray that works great. As for the kits I did my dd (s-10 extreme) a year ago and i wash it every weekend and it still good, the color fads a little but with the new cleaners out specifically for plasti dip it comes right back with having to re spray/ touch up. Im at work now but I'll post up pics in the morning.

There is no way I'd cover a perfectly good paint job with that crap. It's fine for a car with a crappy finish to start with, but seems senseless on a relatively new car with a nice finish. I watched the video and think the Audi looked like shit when he was done.

i work with the dip pretty often, and and do others ppls vehilces when they pay, i have it on my car for wheels and badges and thats all i do, tho i havent done a whole car ive seen plenty done and if its done right this is really sweet stuff, sadly tho ur not gonna get a gloss finish like regular paint, that being said it only cost a couple hundred bucks to do a whole car urself and it just peels off if it dont turn out, u can also do custom mixing with pearl pigments and all that u can get ALOT of info off dipyourcar.com forums, some badass ppl dont listen to the ppl on here hating on it, chances are they dont have experience with it, will this compare to a full blown custom paintjob? no but its fun and easy to give ur car a new look thats not permanent
