3:31's and a tremec will be slow till you get to 100 mph then it will fly, which is not good if you want to beat the competition..like I said earlier if you run the autobahn then go for it , american roads ...not good!

I have no sig for intended purpose...

Not to mention traction, gas mileage and drivability. Car with right Rwhp and 3.31 with tremec will roll so hard!

My car with the tremec and 3.73's is slower on a roll than the mt82 and 3.73's. 1-2-3 are great but hen u throw fourth it kinda falls on its face a little bit then picks back up. To truly benefit from the tremec I would say 4.10's or higher which is what I'm going for. This is obviously for an N/A application. I have full bolt ons and E85.

Doesn't seem like the tremec with 3.31s is that far off from the mm6 gearset in the C6Z. Those roll out pretty hard. Doesn't seem like a coyote with 550whp or more would be too shabby at all.

They dyno mid 400s in stock form. An extra 100whp should make up for 400-600lb weight difference should it not?

Doesn't a 3600-3700lb mustang with 600 to the crank have a better lb/hp number than a 3200lb Z with 505 to the crank?

550whp is probably more than 600 crank, but just using a lower guesstimate.

3700/600=6.17lb/hp
3100/505=6.14lb/hp

Lower is better.

Very close for sure. Depending on model year and options, a Z06 isn't going to be 3200lbs, more like 31xx or 3xxx.

My 2008 base model vette(steel frame) with drag pack and passenger seat removed was 3029lbs and went 10.67@129 all motor. Weight matters. lol

While peak HP numbers and a cars weight is a big factor, don't forget about a cars powerband. The broader the powerband a car has, the faster it will go. The big advantage we have over a non tivct type motor is that our power stays in higher longer. That alone, taking equal weight and HP number cars will allow the tivct motor car to pull in front.

The problem I have in my Boss is the MT-82 with 3.73 doesn't really compare to any other transmission while keeping 5th 1:1.

Ive changed my mind, Instead of going with 3:90s I'm gonna go with 4:10's when i do the swap! This will be a better match to the what i have now with the 3:31's and the mt-82!
