Well, the threads giving Revan Racing props are popping up almost as often as "what tires will fit" (no offense) on my GT500 threads. Unfortunately it took me FOREVER to install this kit as I received it about three weeks ago and the timing with a new position at work left me with little or no time to spend in the garage. Not to mention its been 900 degrees here for what seems like an eternity. The garage wouldn't cool off till about 11:00 at night.

If I knew now, how this kit would radically change the cars behavior, I would have quit my job and got it done the day it arrived. My kit was comprised of the lower 10% pulley, Lund Tune, NGK plugs, JLT Big air intake, 65mm dual throttle body, and the MRT off road H-Pipe. The car went from a potent rocket ship, to an INSANE ANIMAL that is only kept in a cage by the small (sometimes unintelligent) group of muscles that manipulate your right foot. The power delivery is smooth if you're nice to the pedal but instantly, and I do mean instantly, will bake the rear tires without any effort. I have only put on about 30 miles on the car since finishing last night and I will continue to document my findings/feelings about the addition, I'm pretty sure it will be a diary of exhilaration . The exhaust tone of the off road pipe is very nice. I was nervous that the lack of catalytic converters would mess up a perfect sound but all it did was take the already perfect sound and amplify it...........until about 2500-2900 RPM. Then there is the introduction of a characteristic raspy sound that tells anyone within earshot that what they think is a stock, yet formidable, 2013 GT500 isn't fresh off the lot but has been enhanced (insert video clip from Wierd Science "enhance , enhance, enhance"). Showing my age.

I can definitely hear the TVS a lot more, although I have only herd it in short bursts because the tires start spinning a very short time after the delightful sound begins. Here are some install pics, only a teaser as a majority of the pics are reserved for another project.

Van, the kit is awesome and you did an outstanding job piecing it together. Your service is above and beyond, thank You. Oh....and that item we discussed is in the final stages, sorry life got in the way.

How much boost are you making now ? I have the 13-6 kit without the 10% pulley and I'm considering purchasing this.

Nicely done Eviltwins. Looking forward to the rest of your progress. Thanks for the compliment on the 13-6 kit. It is a #1 best seller at Revan Racing.

Thanks again for the business.

I don't hear about the 15% install much anymore. Any particular reason people seem to be going to the 10% these days?

probably because they dont fit right on without modification

Nice job Eviltwins, tires should have been one of your first mods, rookie. Haven't you paid attention to the countless threads?? (yes offense meant)

Trust me, throw some 305 NT555R's on there, shut nannies off and hold on....:burnout:

A lot of cars have the track pack which requires a custom fab oil cooler line fitting. I think most don't want to deal with it. I have the 15% and had the fitting fabricated. I think the 15% will give you about 1 lb of boost more over the 10%. So it's not too much of a difference in power. You also might create more heat with the 15% too as it will spin the TVS more out of it's efficiency.

I knew it required a mod for the TP cars, which I don't have. If there's not a lot of difference in power though, that's a different story.

Talking with my service manager tomorrow to get his feelings on me doing a 13-6 kit on mine. With all this talk of 13-6, it's got me wanting to do mine. If service manager is cool with it, I'm good to go,,otherwise I will wait and get more miles in the seat to make sure no issues pop up with the car requiring warranty work. We'll see. Hope to have a call to Van in my future.

Van, suggested the 10% over the 15%. During the winter u get a little more boost. He said may be to much, safer to do the 10%.

That is the direction I'm lookin in. I'm considering grabbing a set of widened SVPP rears and going that route. There's a set for sale in the market section but the OP hasn't responded to a couple of questions so I'm not sure of the status.

Or I could buy yours!!!

How difficult is the 10% pully swap anyways? Any special puller/installer needed or just a basic harmonic damper puller?
