Terry,

BBR has always had a policy that our customers ALWAYS come first. We have a full functional facility; shop, staff, ect... And like we have always said, our customers will and do come before our own vehicles. It was a last minute decision based off deadlines of customer commitments.

But I will say this(per Chris) "this race will happen........"

Is this some kind of joke? We all know this race will never happen.....

isn't this "new block" basically a beefier coyote block, with more material around the water jackets? I don't think they created a whole new block from scratch, seems to me like they just reinforced the coyote block?
Yes you showed a broken block, but per every broken one there is probably 10 times the amount of cars making anywhere from 700whp to 1000whp without cracking the block

I never said new from scratch. It's a new casting based off the original. So, it's essentially a revised Coyote block. But if it's a non issue, why revise it at all? The fact is, it is an issue. Whether it's an issue at 700hp or 1200 hp, it's still an issue and they addressed it.

In no way am I suggesting there is a specific HP limit, and I don't mean to suggest the coyote isn't pretty stout as is, I'm simply showing it has the potential for failure once the power increases to the numbers we've mentioned. Perfectly tuned, it's likely a non issue. But let's be honest, this isn't a perfect world.

Really and thats why they made the boss block to I guess? The blocks it replaced are holding thousands of horse power...:bash:

The Boss block is no different than the regular Coyote block. What blocks are you talking about that hold thousands of hp? The 4.6L aluminum block? If so yes, that one is proven already and has nothing to do with this discussion.

From the first page of this thread:

A call out at 1130pm online when u are parked 20ft from us.... Just saying.

We came out his weekend to work with customer cars running. Yes, we have cars racing. But the car you want is not here. If you contacted me a week ago we would have brought it. So, to make this more fun, we will set something up at NMRA , GA for u to race the white turbo car. Gives you a month.

Theirs my call out!

Good luck this weekend though.

JPC is a threat to anyone, evo has been quiet for a minute, but their customers car and cruz car will be at norwalk, once lunds tt car gets a 60, it will be dangerous

IDK if they are in GA

however the Lund TT car, Coffeman and cruzintomuch are all potential threats. Certainly what JPC brings out will likely be as well as Evo... they were first in the 9s IIRC with a Coyote.....

To me this shows the heart and work ethic Terry has for the sport more than anything...well played sir. Many expected a no show from BBR anyways. Good thing I wasn't able to get off work after all.

I take it having the etiquette to call or notify the person you agreed to show up and race is out of the question? That shows alot about the person. Good luck with your future endeavors
