Anyone else notice this?

When going in reverse and turning sharply, like when backing out of a driveway or tight parking space, my front wheels are binding kinda like a truck does when it's in 4 wheel drive and you steer sharply. The front end actually binds, pops, and bucks just like a 4x4. If I dont steer as sharp, it doesnt do it so its really only at full lock. :??:

Never felt anything like that so is the steering wheel binding or does the car stop moving?

Mine does that when it's cold out. I believe its just the front tires skipping due to low traction, tight turning radius and tire width/different turning radius of each front tire. I'm not worried at all about it.

Could be any number of things. Possibly a loose or bad ball joint. I've also seen loose end links but that would pop over bumps as well.

No need to worry! Its the wide tires and angle of a sharp turn makes the tires sort of skip especially when its cold. My vette did this even worse. My shelby also does it. Just try not to cut the wheel the whole way while barely moving. Again, itts normal, no worries.

I have noticed a solid-heavy-rattle from the front end when goin over speed bumps (mainly when the front end rolls down off the speed bump) but nothing major.

I was mainly just concerned I messed something up when I strapped it to the trailer bringing it home. I'll go with the majority and assume it's the wide tires, cold weather, and sharp turn.

Both my father's and my '13 GT500 did this since day 1. Not sure why. It is worse when you back out of a driveway that has a slope to it.
