Mobil 1 for now but, based on UB's extensive research, considering shift to Amsoil 10W-40.

Royal Purple XPR 5W-30, a Royal Purple oil filter in all three vehicles.

99 Navigator
04 SVT Focus
04 SVT Cobra Mustang :rockon::beer:

But if I did not get employee pricing I would switch from XPR to HPS as the bang for the buck factor for a mostly street driven vehicle is quite significant.

The XPR race oil is pretty expensive to make.

Amsoil Signature 5W-30 with either a Puralator Pure One or EA011 filter.

My mother has a 2004 Lincoln Town car with the 4.6L 2V engine. Previously, it had Amsoil ATM 10W-30 in the sump for exactly 1 year, just over 10,000 miles. Currently, the car has the same oil in the photo above (RP 5W-30, non-HPS, new bottle) purchased from Pep Boys. I bought it when they had the $35.00 deal for 5 quarts and 1 filter. This oil is scheduled for a change at the 1 year mark and will have experienced the same mileage and driving conditions.

I already have the UOA on the 1 year Amsoil fill. This June, we will have a side by side comparison.

Perform UOA testing on XPR at the oil change interval, or ban! :read:

I was skeptical at first...but The Beast made such a compelling argument on this site that I just had to take the Amsoil plunge.

As for me its Amsoil Signature Series 0W-30 in the winter and their Signature Series 10W-30 from spring to fall. The UOA just doesn't lie. And I beat her good during the summer months. The oil doesn't doesn't lie.

Always used this in my 89gt. Has a 302, s trim and other goodies making over 500 to the tires. I have considered switching to RP because it will only cost me a couple bucks more and i run the RP in my cobra.

Amsoil in both cars. 10w-40 in the boss and 0w-30 in the GT. Only caviot is that i may have to provide the dealership with some oil for upcoming warranty work. Good news is i can give them the oil i desire. Bad news is it has to be 5w-50. So it will get a load of redline.

Dealers are now asking for an oil sample? Please clarify...
