Hey guys I bought a steig stage 6 ported blower from a member on svtp. The set up he had was a 2.93 upper,4lb lower with no long tubes. I have bbk long tubes and read that it decreases boost and adds power, so my question is can I run a 2.76 with 4 lb lower or would that be an overkill? What would be the difference in power between the 2 setups? Here are the engine mods( all are going to be installed soon) The member that I bought the blower from had similiar mods to me except the BBK LT's.

Stegemeir stage 6 Ported Blower
Ported Plenum
Dragon tb
80lb injectors
Mafia
Metco 4lb lower
2.93 upper OR 2.76
JLT CAI
Afco dual pass H/E
KB BAP
BBK LT Headers
2.5 inch O/R Xpipe
2.5 inch Bassani Catback

On the dyno I saw a few more RWHP with the 2.76"...however, the 2.76" put down 10 more rwtq!!!!! :D

Thats what I like to hear:) And I noticed that you ran 10.99 on a Ported Blower.....thats INSANE! Makes me happy that I have a ported blower, too bad it wasnt a Posi.

Thanks!!! ...If I could get the car to stop "spinning" now with the new clutch, I might see high 10.7's to low 10.8's! :burnout: ... But that's Racing!!!

If you want the power go with the 2.76/4. If you want it more conservative run the 2.93.

That's what I'm thinking. Just havent seen too many combos with 2.76/4, I hear more about the 2.93/4, probably because its more conservative like you said.

9.82 on a ported eaton?? Damn now I really wish I had e85 around here lol. But I already bought a 4 lower so I gotta stick with that. Planning on going with 2.76 and 4 lower, just waiting for a couple of members on here to let me know what they hit compared to the 2.93/4. Just want to know exactly what the diff is between the two setups.

The difference is more torque, about the same hp and less efficiency. If you are going to the track, the torque will help your times. On the street, you will lose traction and heat soak quicker.
