I just decided to make a new thread to better advertise the car. I also lowered the price significantly to skip the negotiating process.

Do you want to buy an 03-04 Cobra but afraid of what the previous owners might have done to it? Was the motor/tranny abused or suffered severe crashes covered up w/o insurance? Look no further! This Cobra features a recently built (by ModMax) 5.0L Boss 302 shortblock. The bigger bore helps to unshroud the 4 valves, resulting in better gains than a stroked 4.6L. The previous transmission broke a snap ring which caused all sorts of issues, replaced with another T56 off a Cobra that had 51k miles, and THEN the trans was reconditioned by the same shop and now shifts like butter. All work (except shortblock build) and tuning was completed by Gulf Coast Motor Works. This Cobra is mechanically flawless!

Only negative about the car is that it was involved in two minor accidents over a year ago. First one a gentlemen scraped the rear bumper and driver side rear wheel. Second one I hydroplaned in a slow corner and hit a bus stop sign with the driver side door. The front end was never touched in either incident and this was with the old motor anyways. I have pics of both showing the minor damage, no lasting effects on the car at all!

That's an incredible price for a car with a mod list that is awesome, someone will save thousands and I'd love to have that motor in my car, I'd spray the life out of it ;)

Thanks man, it's ready for nitrous if you'd like to use it and would love a bigger supercharger. Makes 600 with just a ported eaton, just imagine the possibilities.

Free bump, I'm in the cape. I may have seen it around a few times. Hard to tell though with silver. I would also love to have that motor in my car. GLWS!

Thanks Chris, the motor is badass and even sounds a little deeper than the 4.6. I'm working on getting a couple sound clips for you all but looks like rain down here today.

I'm at 635 on just 13 lbs of boost and really low timing... Like 12 degrees at WOT. My secret is 10.0:1 compression w ith ported heads and cams... My tuner and I have talked and with a re-tune for meth and not adding boost my car should be around 680-690 rwhp and 700+ rwtq..... But your car does have a shock factor as most people will think it's a 480-500 rwhp car.

Yeah plenty of room to improve there. My small bump in comp helps and so does the bigger bore, with the torque curve mostly. I still have stock cams and headers which is probably worth 60whp. And with any upgraded supercharger you'd be right around 700whp when on e85.. not too mention the n2o system ready for use. Tons of potential but current power levels are more than enough for me
