Hey guys,

I was able to get Sid's OK to have these made and sell them on here.

I spoke to my machinist today and he doesn't see any issues at all...in fact I will have the first one Wednesday to try on my car before I have a batch of them made.

The only question we have is what pitch are the threads on the plug? My machinist, Earl, was pretty sure they are standard but asked me to double check.

And I would also like to gauge some interest. I do not yet have my price set but I have a general idea of what it is going to be. With that in mind, I am shooting for $40 shipped and I will include a new O-ring with each plug.

Let me know what kind of interest you guys have! As soon as I get my first one I will have pictures up!!!

Might be a nice piece of underhood bling to have.

I was planning on a machined finish. Do you think I should check into the price difference of having some polished? The pieces he's polished for me in the past have looked awesome FWIW

Wont stainless do some funky electrolysis thing with the mixed metals?

There's guys on here that have been using stainless plugs for multiple years.
So, I don't think there is any sort of issue to worry about.

Hopefully they will chime in and confirm that.

Stainless-stainless will often gall. stainless-regular not a problem.

Interested in machined or raw finish. What will the removal tool be?

pics? I'd be down for one. I remember there was a guy that stopped making a really nice high quality one earlier this year... I missed out and would love to have a quality better designed plug (so I don't break a 1/4 drive or tear up the plug every time I have to take it off).

I have one from a guy on here whose name escapes me at the moment. Really nice piece and it eliminates that atrocious design that Ford thought would actually make sense. We are probably talking about the same guy. He made them for a quite a while and I know a lot of people bought them on here.

Thank you for the clarification.

Just a normal hex socket, not sure of size yet...we talked about it a little and we guessed maybe a 17mm

Interested any pics

I will have pics as soon as my machinist if done with the first plug. Which should hopefully be tomorrow.

I might be interested. Can they be powder coated black?

At this time, I'm going to stick to raw or possibly polished depending on price difference and what/if people are willing to pay for them to be polished

Does anyone know the thread pitch? The op did not receive any answers in this thread.

I would be interested as well. Will it have an o-ring too?
