2007 stock w/o Nav 3K miles
2009 stock w/ Nav 13K miles

Same price, which would you purchase?

Depends on the price, but personally I would pick the '07 with lower miles if the price is right.

Depends when the 09 was built, some factory changes we're made late in the production run.. Get the Vin# and have a Ford Dealer run a free Oasis report before you buy either one...

All else being equal, color, mods and all, go with the '09 if the build date is after August 2008. Clutch/flywheel issue was resolved after August.

Can't remember if the Shelby carries the 5/60K. If it does the 9 gives a couple years peace of mind if not heavily modded

09 was built on 8/12/09, it does have powertrain warranty, Dealer did not have any Recalls or TSB's for it. I do not know how to verify if it has new cluch upgrade.

Run the Oasis, it will tell you if the Clutch TSB was done. Click over to teamshelby, on there is listed the date the factory updates went into effect

Based on the Team Shelby info, the 09 most likely does not have the new clutch.

Id go for the 09 just because its newer an chances are the clutch flywheel will fail on the 07. But if you just want the car for a collector reason the 07 would be better.

I was leaning towards the 09 because it is 2 years newer, last of that body style, and fewer built. BTW, I didn't mention it but both are convertibles, not sure it makes a difference.

It would be interesting to get the production numbers from the internet, by color and interior to see which one was the lower build?

Does the 09 have HID's? That wasn't an option for 07.

2009 does have HID, only 222 built and only 36 with stripe delete like this one.

Many more built in 07 and it doesn't have HID or Nav (but very low miles)

The 2009 MY GT500 is the lowest production since resurrection in '07.

Balancer is the improved design over '07 as well.

09 no doubt, i buy a car to enjoy and drive it, not to store it in a garage. 13k miles is not very much at all.
