But I thought the sra was terrible at the track, and that you can't put the power down, and that there was ridiculous amounts of body roll, and that the tranny just didn't feel right, and that the car can't corner for shit, and that.... did I miss anything?

Great vid. Thanks

Was that a Z06 or a ZR1 that went by and disappeared? Any ZL1s on the track?

BWUAHAHAHAHAHA it's funny I was thinking the same thing.. All the effing haters hating on a SRA and how old technology can't keep up with new ones and how the IRS is god and blah blah blah.. :bored: what now bitches???

Van great driving as always!! I can't wait to see what this thing does with a setup from Griggs.. I wonder if it's even worth it honestly.

Bob's Head Rest Mount No Worky on Recaro Seats!

That was my buddy Danny. 2001 Z06 built motor, suspension, track only car and Hoosiers 325's on all 4 corners. That car is bad ass and Danny is a good shoe.

No ZL1's. Honestly, I've never seen one in person.

Tell me that the cute little Porsche wasn't behind you the whole time and that what we saw was him entering the track ahead of you...

The Vette...wow. He simply disappeared. Gotta respect that.

Van, I was watching carefully to see how 'unsettling' it was when clipping the apexes and running over the curbing. Pobst has made a few comments on it (in reviews of other S197 performance vehicles) but from what I saw in your video it looked to be a non-issue? Can you comment more in terms of this car vs any previous S197 chassis you have tracked? Did the Bilsteins seem to be a noticeable improvement?

+1

I also find this video hard to believe since the GT500 has crazy body roll, its hard to shift, the antiquated SRA is useles, the tires are narrow, the power cant be put down, tough to handle, tall gears are weird,etc......:kaboom:

Looked good van. Was that with traction control on and advance trac on or were they turned off.
