What about the bigger superchargers gives you more power? If my posi ported eaton spins at 17lbs, will a whipple at 17lbs be giving me the same amount of power? So the larger s/c just increases the window of acceptable rpms to spin the blower? Is this the same with turbos?

Thanks

Bigger blowers can flow more CFM at a given rpm. Say your eaton flows 700cfm at 17psi. If you throw on a whipple and aim for the same 17psi it might be flowing 900cfm.

Another way to look at is that the whipple might be able to flow that 700cfm at 14psi. That means you're not spinning the blower as hard. Which means less parasitic drag on the motor and lower IATs. All of which means more power.

Yeah I knew that the higher iat's for the eaton would be an issue with power but the rest makes sense. Thanks
