so did anyone use hose from that last link? what was the outcome? satisfactory horrible needing to finish up my system and looking for the best price while maintaining good quality parts!

which link? i got all my hose from the silocone intakes site. I will say its not the BEST quality, and i encountered problems with the line bending around sharp corners. but i just took a plier and bent it back and the line seemed perfect.

The reason i went with it, is that any rubber hose is not meant to hold up to E85 from all i have read, it HAS to be teflon. i simply could not find any.

also, this is the socket style system, so i read push lock is not the best to go with.

If i could do it all over i would probably go with aeroquip because the prices arent That much more, and i dont want to feel like my hose is inferior quality wise.

Jared, I am using that stuff from you guys in my engine bay for my Fore rails, and it has been great so far, but I'm concerned with longer runs (like for supply, and return lines), that it will weep fuel smell like some hoses do. Have you noticed this so far with yours? BTW, this is for a regular 93 octane setup, not E85.;-)

Brian

My entire system is made from Fragola, long runs from and to the tank included. I haven't once had a problem with smelling fuel vapor at all in my garage.

My only complaint with the fragola stuff is that the -6an stuff is really, really difficult to fully seat onto the fittings. And I was using a heat gun on the hose and liberally lubricating the Summit fittings. I also used the -8an and -10an Fragola hose and did not have this difficulty though.

I also have allfragola lines and fittings. pain in the ASS to get onto the fittings even with heat and lubing up the fittings even tried freezing the fittings. anyways I like the lines so far. but i do have some fuel odor in the garage but it's gone away for the most part.

prices are decent could deffinatly be worse any issues or problems with anything or was it pretty straitforward

do you have experience with this? i may switch my entire system over if the quality is good.

I have received all the fittings and hose and the stuff looks top notch, i was originally going to go with aeroquip but didnt like the look of the fittings/couldnt find any straight -AN orb to AN flare fittings.

^post some pics! i am switching my whole setup over.

i found this stuff, its CPE teflon on the inside, so its E85 compatible, and they have SS, and black braided hose. the fittings are also top notch. i just replaced one side of my rails due to clearance issues, im going to go with everything next time i have some extra cash.

i go through these guys

I do not like Pushlock hose at all. I wanted something heavy duty and to only do it once.

I ended up with Eaton Aeroquip FC-350 hose with reusable fittings. It has the AQP inner hose and is rated "E" for Excellent for Ethanol, Methanol, Gasoline, Hydraulic Fluid, Brake Fluid, Etc.....

You can just screw the fittings onto the hose. No need to fight with Pushlock and lube and boiling the hose in water.

You can easily get the fittings off and reuse them as many times as you want.

Specifications
.41 inches

Hose O.D. .77 inches

Max. Operating Pressure 1250 psi

Min. Burst Pressure 5000 psi

Min. Bend Radius 1.75 inches

Vacuum Service 28 inches of Hg

Weight/ft. .22 lbs.

Operating Temp. Range -55 TO +300 °F

Never once had gas smell. Went together easier than any hose I have assembled, and had a higher pressure rating than any automotive hose I had looked at.

I will never run anything else.

Definately what Kevin recommended above..I had pushlock stuff and it's a pain in the rear to get onto the fittings.

I'm running Gates LOL Plus in 5/8" ID (-10 AN) pushlock hose from the fuel hat to my stock rails, and I've had the system apart a few times to address leak issues, and no degradation was apparent on the hose interior, no black material flaking inside or anything to that effect and I've been using ethanol for 2 months now

04 sleeper,. when you say they
"screw onto the hose" i think i have the same kind ( the crap version from an fittings) it seems to be the smartest way and really is not that hard to put together. my only regret is not going with a more solid, flexible line.

can you post pictures of the fittings?

The fittings are galvanized steel. Very durable.

hey guys, didnt want to start another thread, but was wondering if anyone uses hard line for the long stretches?
my friends were recommending this route to save money, reduce chance of fuel smell etc.
from the hat, have maybe several feet braided line going to fuel filter, from their, hardline to engine bay. then braided line to rails, regulator, etc.
i figure if i use 1 lenth of 5/8" for supply and 1 1/2" for return, then i would hopefully need something like 12' of braided line. (didnt measure yet, just a very rough estimate)
the hard line i am looking at:
5/8" ALUMINUM HARD LINE NATURAL (per 25' roll) only $28.95 - Aluminum Hard Line
$29 per roll of 25'. i like $1.16 per ft much better than 5+ lol...
ideas?
