Never thought I’d do this but it’s the best decision for me at the time. I’m going to be PCSing all the way across the country to Washington state, and then next month I’m deploying. For my type of work and for the type of weather I’ll experience in Washington, I’m looking at getting a truck when I come back from deployment, so sadly this has to go. I’m just now getting my new orders and I’m out of here this upcoming Monday, the 27th, which is why I’m selling at this low price.

About the Car:

The car is an 03 and as of now it has roughly 44,500 miles on it. I’m the second owner and purchased it in late 2008 with just under 30,000 miles. I’ve never taken it to the track and I can honestly say I’ve never beat on it. I had this while I was in college and never really got to drive it since everything was in walking distance. A lot of the miles have been recent highway miles from when I drove from Virginia to Illinois after I graduated college, and then Illinois to Georgia where I went through my Infantry Officer training and Ranger School here in Columbus, GA. I purchased an extended Premium Care warranty from Ford under their Extended Service Plan which pretty much covers anything that could go wrong with the car. All I have to pay is a $100 deductible for any work that is done regardless of what it is or how long it takes. It covers over 500 parts on the car, even including the engine and supercharger. In order to get this warranty Ford had to fully inspect the car to ensure there was nothing wrong with the car beforehand and it was perfectly fine. Before getting it checked out I also had all my fluids replaced. This was done in May-June time frame. It’s been serviced once since I’ve had the warranty and that was to replace the alternator. No problems getting it serviced, they simply looked up my VIN and I was good to go.

Upgrades: I was planning on adding a Kenne Bell 2.2 but I was scammed on this site after paying the guy $2300, so that never happened. Because of this the mods have stayed very light. I still have the 60lb injectors that I’ll throw in too.

*Chrome FR500’s
*Toyo Proxes R888 – These tires are awesome and are known for their performance in the rain. I had Nitto Drag Radials before and I had a few scares in the rain. These have been awesome and hook the same if not better than the Nitto’s did. I got them last May, so they have plenty of tread left and have never had a burnout done.
*Borla Catback and Bassani Mid Pipe – Awesome combination without the excess raspiness of some setups you’ll hear.
*MGW Shifter
*JL Audio Upgrades – Check out the details here! http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/terminator-talk-229/638406-my-new-car-audio-system.html
*DNX 9140 – DVD/Garmin GPS/Voice Operated/Ipod hookup
*HID Lights from the HID Guy – Slight bluish tint, looks great!
*New Battery and Alternator

Condition:

The car is in great running shape and there aren’t any weird noises coming from it. The paint still has excellent shine when it is washed as you can see in the pic below. Of course, as with any car, there are a few light scratches and some light swirl marks in a few spots but you cant see them unless you are right on top of the car. There is one ding on the left side, but it is small and not noticeable again unless you are right next to it. I’ll get some pics up hopefully tomorrow when this rain stops that will show these spots. The AC works fine and it will freeze you in the summer or make you sweat in the winter.

Issues:

*The car was involved in two accidents, the second of which was in the summer of 2009. In both accidents nothing major was damaged ie., frame or engine. They were also at slow speeds. One accident I was clipped by a truck, and the second my ex-girlfriend bumped in to me when turning from a red light in the rain. If anything I was happy I got a new front bumper. Because of the second accident the right door requires a slight bit more pushing to close, but it is nowhere near a slam. Honestly, looking at the car you wouldn’t be able to tell that it was ever hit and it drives perfectly fine. No wobbles, weird noises, or issues. Again, in order to get that extended warranty they fully checked over the car to make sure it had no preexisting problems. All the repairs were done by Ford.
*The front speakers need to be replaced. Not sure what happened but they just went out on me one time while driving. The rears and subs still work fine however.
*Didn’t realize this until a year after I got the car but there is a slight discoloration spot on the rear carpet. It’s small and hidden by the floor mat, but just don’t want there to be any surprises.
*Not really an issue, but all of the trunk space is taken up by that audio equipment so anything you would want to carry would have to be put in the back. Of course you could do whatever you wanted, but that’s what I did. That audio stuff is still worth a lot of money so you could always sell it all. The original carpeting and panels are very cheap to buy if you wanted to return it to its normal look. I also lined the trunk with dynamat, which really helped with road noise as well as eliminating rattle.

Asking Price:
I’m honestly not sure what to ask. I’ve put over $8,000 in to the car not including the $2300 I was scammed out of trying to buy that Kenne Bell. So make me an offer, I’m not looking to make a ton here, just need to get it sold right away otherwise I’ll have to put it in storage while I’m in Washington and deployed. I’m located in Columbus, GA (Ft. Benning area).

I’ll get more pics up hopefully tomorrow when I can go outside and take some decent pics without this rain. I put together this ad kinda quickly as I wanted to hurry up and allow it to be seen so if you have any questions or pic requests don’t hesitate to let me know. I'll probably be adding more as I think of things to add. I can be reached at 757-214-4579 or emailed at [email protected] Thanks for looking!

Where you going to be stationed in WA? Will the Army not ship it for you?

I wish they would ship it, but no. They said they are only shipping cars for those being stationed overseas. Only way they would is if there were some condition that prevented me from making the drive, and I tried inventing a right ankle injury on the spot and they didn't find that funny lol. But I'd rather sell it anyway cause I'm probably gonna get a truck when I get back from deployment.

Sold the car today so now I am officially single! At the same time this was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. The last intimate moment we shared!
