Hey guys, I was driving down the road and my cobra would not go onto boost. If I tried to push the throttle from any gear it would just want to stall. So I pulled over, kept the car running, and look under the hood thinking I may have l may have killed a belt. Belt was fine, so then I turned car off was thinking perhaps I needed to reset the computer...no joy. Then the car would not start after that. So then I called tow truck to come give a tow. When the toe truck arrived he helped me with a few things. We jumped the car and it seemed fine. After we removed the j-cables, it took 3 minutes and the interior gauges all crapped out and started to fail. Any thoughts

Def the alternator. Ford was nice and put it in a very convenient spot for you.

You should be fine w/o one if you went to ford and got an oem alt. If you went for the refurbished ones you'll be doing this again in a matter of weeks!
