Anyone had any experience with JBA Headers in San Diego?
JBA Performance Exhaust

Waiting for delivery on my new 2012 GT Premium and was thinking MagnaFlows / Borla S tips, but someone suggested JBA who seems to do their own custom exhaust system.
I'd prefer known brands (you tend to know you're getting quality) but thought I'd ask in case anyone's had a great experience with them JBA.

Apologies if I'm posting in the wrong place.
Just joined the forum, and my 1st post :rolling:

Thanks in advance.

JBA has been around since the 80s. Mostly known for shorty headers back then. I was curious how they're axleback for the 5.0 sounds and looked into getting it but ended up buying from someone on the forum.

What part of SD are you in? I'm at the Navy base. Nice to see another 5.0 owner. The place is full of 6 bangers. I have only seen a handful of us while cruising around SD. JBA makes a great product and you can pick the stuff up locally either at JBA exhaust or JBA bittle performance center.

I live in University Heights but I work in Carlsbad.
I catch an all Kona blue 5.0 on the 5 almost every morning, there's a another Kona blue with white race stripes around Carlsbad and then an all black one I've only seen a couple of times downtown.
Kona seems popular, mine will be another one to add to the list :)

JBA headers isn't owned by JBA performance anymore. The company that bought them took the name and the factory in Mexico, and continues to sell it under the JBA name. I'd prefer an American made product personally.

I just installed some parts on a 2011 for a customer. Kooks 1 7/8 w cats and a magnaflow exh. Sounds pretty damn good. I can install anything you buy if you need.

Ya I went down to the shop a month ago and they gave me a full tour and story on the shop. I will buy things from them like torco but I don't think I could trust them with my car on their dyno.
