all 4 pages and can't find what I'm looking for. I have an 01 cobra with factory manifolds, UPR X-Pipe and an SLP LM1 catback. I'd like to hear what the difference would be if I swapped out the X for an H

Bassani mids, Bassani O/R X, Borla Stinger. There was really no difference with the tone between catted and O/R. It's just louder with the O/R pipe.

Thanks. When it's running again I'm going to throw some new cats on it. Partially to get rid of the gas smell and partially to quiet it down. I do love how pissed off it sounds at WOT. After the first pull the dyno operator looked at me and went "whoa".

Seems like everyone runs O/R mid pipes lol. Sucks being in CA, I wish more people in my area had new edge cobras so I could actually get an idea on exhaust in person.. Youtube just doesnt do justice.

Quick question.. new to this site.. Would you be able to run an O/R mid pipe and still be able to pass your emissions.. without the check engine.. My car which I just purchased had some previous work done from a previous owner. The only exhaust upgrade was a Cherry Bomb mufflers which to me doesnt give it enough growl like my 02 had.. I'm new to the SVT so any pointers in getting that right combination.. will help..
My 02 had an Mac O/R with 2 chamber flows.. hated paying extra to pass emissions....

I'm not sure how emissions testing is in Texas but I'm from Massachusetts and they plug into the computer to make sure the readiness tests are complete. I can have 2 not readys and still pass. I'm running a off road H-pipe with flowmasters and I pass because I had my car tuned to not throw a catalyst innefficiency code. I dont have a check engine light. I know you can also get rid of the check engine light by shutting your O2 sensors off with a tuner but I will fail if I do that because when they plug in for emissions they can tell I monkeyed with the computer. I hope this all makes sense.
