Not to change the subject here, but is an svt focus fuel pump enough to supply the eaton swap or do you absolutely have to add a boost a pump? Anyone with personal experience?

NO, I ran 1 GT pump which out flows the focus pump and the GT pump was done at 399. Then I added a BAP and was good to abut 450ish.

Really, I was under the impression that the Ford GT and Aviator pumps would not need a BAP to supply the eaton.
I've done alot of research today and found the Ford GT pump and Aviator are the best option and only need a little modification to fit in the stock basket. The quetion is, which one is best? I've got so many mixed reviews and most all people who did these swaps were not using a BAP.
What is the FINAIL answer to the fuel pump question, Ford GT or Aviator?

I would say GT but thats me. You will need a BAP. I cant see someone makin 400+ on a single in tank pump but every car is different. It is really easy to put the GT pump in the hat. Just need fuel hose to go from the pump to the hat, 2 wire connections so when you cut the plug of you can wire the pump up, I used a hose clamp to keep the pump in place in the hat.

Kurgan stated the SVT focus pump is good without a bap to 450

The problem with the stock 80mm Maf is it pegs at 400 hp and creates a lean condition.

I am doing the maurader bracket swap also. In my eaton/manifold/intercooler swap I attained the 03 engine harness too. Trying to see if I can just plug this in, in place of the 01 cobra engine harness.

The harnesses won't mate up. The 03 cobra engine harness will not plug into your transmission harness, unless you are running a T56 w/ the 03 cobra trans harness. I have one for an 03 cobra if you need one. Brand new in the box. Let me know.

I did the swap last summer. I got the entire set-up for 2400.00. Did the swap in one weekend and made 430 hp with nothing other then the eaton. Went 11.90-12.0 every pass.

What are the average individual prices for all these parts for budget sake? I have plenty of time to buy parts individually so it doesn't matter to me.

Here you go with all parts priced individually. I would highly recommend just waiting and buying all parts at the same time. You will save a ton of money in the long run.

Edit: Sorry it looks like Derek no longer has prices posted for parts individually.

I'm a bit confused now. Many conflicting opinions on the GT pump... I thought it was good for well over 400. It flows 265lph and I thought that was good for somewhere near 500hp?

I'm finishing up my Eaton swap now and it's getting tuned next week and I went with one GT pump and no BAP.....

500 fwhp maybe. I had just a gt pump on my mach with the eaton at 8psi and it maxed out at 399. Added bap and my tuner said it would be good til high 400's. I would be ready to spend the money on the bap. Just my opinion.

Or instead of a BAP run twin GT pumps. That is what I will most likely be doing since I don't like BAP.

Ok, so help me on this one... BAP is nice but for the money it's more cost effective to go twin GT pumps. So, my question, how do you fit twin GT pumps inside a stock '99 tank?

I remember a thread not to far back for twin gt pump installation. If your going to be under 475 RWHP, it seems to me that it would be alot more cost effective to go with an avaitor pump and a BAP. IF you run twin gt pumps I think you must use two FPDM's, correct me if I am wrong.

Brand new GT sitting on the mod shops table so if anything it will be the BAP.... We'll see. From many threads and advice of the mod shop and tuner the GT pump should suffice. I'll keep ya'll updated!

Just got my 01 tuned with the swap. It hit 440/400 but it still had more to go but my pumps were maxed out already. I got 03 cobra pumps. So i just ordered the bap so im gonna see how that goes when it gets here.
