Can I sell it even though my wrecked truck is currently tuned with it? Does it marry itself to the truck like the Predators do?

I have two of them now and could get rid of it as long as it won't cause the new owner any trouble.

+1, it's vin locked. I've heard that sct will charge and i've heard that they won't charge. If your friends with a sct tuner, they can sometimes hook you up.

Once you plug it in and unlock it, it should also tell you how many tune "slots" of the original five (5) are left. If there are none, then it has to be flashed clean by SCT and yes, they charge $150 for that. IIRC, SCT does not allow any tuner to reflash an SCT device to OEM specs with five open tunes. Typically, a user might have a street tune and a track tune and the stock tune stored (three total). The value of a used tuner is usually based on how many tune slots are open if its unlocked. If its locked... deduct $150 from whatever you _think_ its worth.
