In a Fore hat? Ran out of typing space in the title.

I need to get back to my build, and I would like to run Lethals fuel system, but I don't want to spend for the triple hat setup if either of these new in tank pumps will fit in the Walbro's place. The DW300 is close to the same size as the GSS342's.

New Aeromotive 340 in tank pump - LS1TECH

BTW I'm wanting to run E85 in a TermiFox with a ported blower to start out with, and maybe eventually step up to a more efficient poweradder. I already have some 80's.

Well right now I'm not even running lol, but I will be running a return style setup, and these pumps to my knowledge can't even be used with a returnless setup. If you are wanting to run returnless then 2 or 3 FGT pumps seems to be the way to go for a hot setup.

^How much power are you looking to make? Running 3 FGT pumps with BAP should support quite a lot of HP even with E85. Still return style fuel systems are much better for performance apps then returnless style fuel systems are. Not really sure why Ford felt then need to go returnless?

They did it to meet emissions. Return system sometimes allow gas fumes to escape in the air. All gov. Bs. Any way I was planning on not having to change my fuel hat an basket also the gt500 pumps flow same if not better than fgt pumps need something that prolly flows over 300lph.

Someone should get on stacy's case about whether this is an application for our cars. I'd like to see two stealth pumps in a twin hat setup. You realize that two of these pumps are running almost as much fuel as triple walbros. It's only about 35lph difference and no need to completely rewire things to have the third pump only come on during boost and such. Looking forward to lethal and fore's ideas on this.

Exactly!

Why run three pumps if you don't have to? That's just an extra pump that could go bad. It's also more $, more complex, etc.

Yea, I mean to upgrade both pumps to the aeromotive stealth pumps it would be an extra $160, but it would in turn be slightly simpler. Now the real badass setup would be the triple pump setup with 3 of those suckers in there...can you say support up to like 2000rwhp? lol apparently the triple pump system is capable of up to 1500rwhp on pump gas. Running 3 stealth pumps equate to exactly 4 GSS342's. lol Thats a ton of fuel! :pepper:

It looks to me like the new budget return style fuel system from Lethal just gained some head room to work with. I think that system with two of these stealth340 pumps in there will be able to support a good amount of power. Enough that I doubt you'd have to go with a 3 pump system to reach E85 power numbers people on here are seeing.

Direct from the horse's mouth, talked to Justin yesterday about this.

The Aeromotive Stealth 340 WILL fit in the GSS342 pump baskets, but make sure you get the 11142 part number so the inlet and outlet line up exactly as the Walbros do.

So does that mean they would be a direct replacement for the stock cobra pumps for a returnless system as well? I'm looking to piece together a system to support about 750RWHP on E85. The only upgrade I have now is a BAP. I'm thinking I could get away with two of these, a dual FPDM setup, and some 80's?
