Anyone using this 8 rib conversion? I noticed they were over 100 cheaper than the GI Joe kit. I don't know anything about the JPC kit so I emailed them today to get some answers on what is and isn't included in the kit. If anyone has experience with this kit please let me know.

Thanks, I've been looking all over for a complete part list but I was having trouble finding one. Is the crank SFI approved? Did you need spacers to move the blower out?

Those innovators west pulleys are expensive, like 400 bucks lol. Does anyone sell a cheaper 8 rib SFI approved crank pulley? How much hp do you think the lightning one is good for. Il be around 550 rwhp

You can get a used one for 300 or so... If your only shooting for 550, I wouldnt even bother with 8 rib, just get the 10% od balancer and call it a day.

We should put a kit together and sell it for 400. Prob 200 profit and happy customers cause they saved 200. Just need to come up with instructions and the proper size washers for each application. Are the washers only needed to space the blower because of the alternator? I can see even with my 3.6 6 rib pulley that it's close to the alt.

Just an update, JPC did return my email and they are selling the GI Joe kit and the price was an error. I tried to go back on the site and post a link but they removed the ad for the kit. I think they should've offered it to me for the advertised price. When I called to inquire I spoke to a women and she didn't know much about it. I probably could've ordered from her and got the good price but I'm not that type of person. They at least could've offered me some sort of discount. I decided to order the GI Joe kit from Dave instead of trying to put the kit together piece by piece. If I was doing it myself I would've tried but since I'm paying for the install it will cost me less by having a well put together kit and good directions from what I've heard.

If any does have the instructions on the spacers would be awesome. I'm trying to do a 8 rib swap on my 96 cobra. Wanting to swap the 8 rib to my car and 6 rib to my 2000 5.4 expedition
